Hopefully that will happen Nicky. I have no doubt it will be a huge hit in Europe if it as his manager has desribed, a big pop record with four or five smash hits. Due to the ridiculous media attacks on him in the past 4 years, obviously it will be a big task for him to win back alot of the casual fans who did not like Rudebox. With the news of the new album, all the media are yet again saying that Rudebox was a huge flop etc etc, which always makes me laugh. It sold 4.5 million copies (prob over 5 at this stage if EMI are saying his album sales are 55m) and topped the charts in 14 countries, with the single Rudebox going to #1 in more countries than Sexyback by JT, and She's Madaonna also topping the charts in 8 or 9 countries. The album recieved brilliant reviews from proper music mags etc, but the tabloids did nothing but slag it off and brainwashed people into thinking it got panned and sold f*** all, which couldnt be further from the truth, as the reviews show :smoke:

NME - 8/10 'Rudebox is the best thing he's ever put his name to. F***ing about on laptops with the likes of Lily Allen and Pet Shop Boys, he has hit on a fun, frantic, pisstaking mixtape of crystalline 80s electropop... it is an amazing pop album.'

That is shocking :o Never thought he would bother trying to crack the US again. If he wasnt bothered enough to work on it more than a few weeks like he did back in 2003, then I am suprised he wants to take it on at 35  Might not be true though, or it might just get a digital release like IC and Rudebox.

I cant wait for him to promote it though. Appearing on TV performing and doing interviews etc. Jonathan Ross will be great. Also, I hope he does the X Factor and does the whole mentor thing as he would be great at it :smoke:

He's actually been quite successful in the US dance chart these past few years. Maybe they reckon he's better known over there these days? I dunno.

Yip, X Factor would be great.

So Trevor Horn eh? Hopefully it's a quirky pop track. Actually can't wait though :D

We're very excited to announce that Robbie Williams will be releasing his much-anticipated new album, Reality Killed The Video Star, on November 9th, 2009.

However, ahead of that, the first single to be released will be Bodies, on October 12th, with the digital version available one day earlier on the 11th.

As you'll know from Robbie's blogs, he has been busy working on the new material with Trevor Horn, who has produced both the album and the single.

First single "Bodies".

awwwwwwww

you never know, He could be announcing a tour in the US at some point

We all might have to jump on a plane to see him

NO! You're not allowed to come over! You might take my good tickets!!!

:whip:

You and me could set off tomorrow. His next tour won't be until 2023 anyway. We should arrive in plenty of time. ^_^
I'll bring my new book. At the rate I'm reading it I might just get to the end by 2023 :(
