Who was over dramatising then here? Sorry, it may seems that Robbie is all right with TT, but the fans of the both groups cannot go along  . Normally i post what i want about music where i want and where i think it fits in the discussion, but i will skip the place here to don't put some Robbie fans in face of such problems of hearing about other songs as Robbies.

A beautiful life in your closed world then :teresa: .

Excuse me, it is one thing responding to a post that mentioned their album, but for it is turn into a conversation about which song is better than which is a clear attempt to irritate people (perhaps not on your part mind you), and then came of course the inevitable insult which at this stage is beyond boring and predictable. Norma, I have no issues with you disliking Robbie, you are perfectly entitled to view your opinion - but I have to say I do find you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with him. I mean the vast majority of your posts on DS are slagging him off. Why on earth do you waste so much of your time on someone you dislike so much? It is actually beyond bizzare at this stage and is getting most tiresome. I could never possibly imagine being so bored that I would constantly read interviews, watch concerts, post endlessly on several sites about someone I dislike so much. You should just turn off the gig on BBC2, ignore him entirely (just like I do with TT), and listen to someone who puts you in a good mood - whoever that may be. I reccomend trying a bit of Morrissey myself - the best lyricist the UK has even produced ^_^

Seriously though, you should just stop wasting your time with Rob, life is too short - concentrate on someone you do like. Make a few posts over on the TT forum about TT themselves

I am trying not to listen to the new songs all that much. I want my first full listen to RKTVS to be as much as a surprise as possible ^_^
Although with the postal strikes we in the UK might get our copy in February.....

The 6th here in Ireland :smoke: I am actually suprised the record hasnt leaked yet :o I actually really hope it doesnt as I would love to hear some of the songs in full (obviously we have heard a few alreadt from the gig) for the first time on CD.

Things are looking good for the album though. It is #2 on Amazon, #1 & #3 on Play and #1 on CDWOW. :cheer:

If Bodies can sell over 135,000 in 2 weeks, then the album should have no problem selling 200K + first week as he is an albums act afterall. Although saying that, albums sales are so bad atm. No million sellers this year and it's nearly November :o

After me just saying I was suprised it hasnt leaked- guess what happens? It leaks -_-

Obviously I couldnt resist downloading. And I can now safely say this album is simply stunning. His best since Sing When Your Winning, possibly even better after more listens. It is def the first album since 'Sing' where I have loved every track

1. Morning Sun - I adore this song and the Beatles-esq sound to it. Some great lyrics: 10/10

2. Bodies - Thought it was good at first but now love it. The arrangment is fantastic: 9/10

3. You Know Me - 2nd single. Has a 50's type of sound to it, not everyones cup of tea but I really like it. It's a great slice of pop 8/10

4. Blasphemy - Simply stunning. His voice is brilliant and I love the lyrics. Classic Robbie: 10/10

5. Do You Mind - Reviews have suggested this is a filler - well the album had to have a party rock/pop track and this is it. A catchy fun song: 7.5/10

6. Last Days Of Disco - This is beyond brilliant. f***ing amazing infact. Prob my fave 10/10

7. Somewhere - again very Beatles. Only a minute long but quite brilliant indeed. 8/10

8. Deceptecon - Amazing song. Great Bowie vibe to it. I just love this. Great lyrics: 9.5/10

9. Starstruck - Didnt like this when I first heard it but really like it now. Very catchy. 3rd single worthy: 8.5/10

10. Difficult For Weirdo's - Rudebox lovers will really like this. Experimental Robbie at his best. Very catchy and Pet Shop boys: 9/10

11. Superblind - Stunning - I adore this. Would've fitted perfectly on Sing When Your Winning. His voice is amazing on it and it sounds like a more interesting Love Calling Earth. Love the line "Im the genius behind me" - 10/10

12. Won't Do This - Really catchy song. Love the music and the guitar solo. Silly lyrics but amusing: 8.5/10

I am so delighted with this album. Truly brilliant. Here is where it stands in my rankings:

1. LTAL

2. IBEY

3. SWYW

4. RKTVS

5. Rudebox

6. IC

7. Escaplogy

8. Swing

Wow, you give it a great review Scotty :yahoo:

will be interesting to see how many resist downloading

Yeah, I am a bit annoyed it has leaked. Although U2's last album leaked nearly a month before if I recall. I hope it doesnt effect sales too badly. The last 2 albums leaked at least a week prior to the release but album sales were much higher in 05/06. I just hope those who like the album buy it.

A nice summary of the reviews so far :D

“Mainstream pop with twists of lyrical wit, irony and imagination - classy piece of work, mature, reflexive and substantial” – The Telegraph

“the flow of the record is excellent when heard as a whole - his finest album since I’ve Been Expecting You” BBC

“Engagingly mature return from Stoke’s favourite son” – Uncut Magazine

“it's fantastic: a brilliant reminder of how his songs can combine wit, strangeness and accessibility” The Guardian

“his best since 2002's Escapology - a No1 hit. Simple as that” The Sun

The second single is a borefest.

Well, who wants to buy it, he'll buy it anyway, having download version or not.

Because people will be able to download it from Nov 9th also.

I know I'll buy it.

I can't find links for this album anywhere, i want to hear it so much :(

Well I hope whoever downloads gets a virus that not only creeps in to their computer but also into their bodies & never leaves it & that they get an itch that never goes away.... <_<

Sorry Scotty .... ;) :P
