Wayne Bridge sends text to John Terry after todays game: "That's how you play away."

Indeed. Taking that into account when Manchester United win their 19th top flight League title, will John Terry get a winner's medal because he has single handedly destabilised his own team.

This was the 4th Chelsea Game running where he has been a liability, and if as reported in the media yet again in the last two days at least five first team members of the Chelsea dressing room are no longer talking to him outside of the (training) pitch then Chelski are in trouble.

Still you might enjoy this creatively edited interview:

..... (On a serious note) ..... it goes without saying from all decent football fans ..... Get well soon Aaron Ramsey :( ....

Yeah even though he a Scum player I wish Ramsey well, reminded me a lot of Eduardo's injury and he made a full recovery

If only it had been Sol Campbell I would have opened the bottle of champagne I got for xmas to toast the moment but Ramsey is a likeable guy so fingers crossed he fully recovers

Indeed... Get well soon Ramsey. Twas a horrible challenge but Shawcross seemed to truly regret it and I highly doubt he meant to do that.

You can tell from his reaction that he didn't mean it and he's as gutted as anyone that it happened. I hope this injury doesn't stall a highly promising career too much. :(

After seeing the challenge at a better angle on Match of the Day it didn't even seem like *that* bad a challenge. It was pretty much 50-50 and it was mistimed, I think it's very unlucky, it wasn't two footed, it wasn't particularly high, there weren't even studs showing. Very unlucky for Ramsay.

You're a dick.

After watching this a few times I'm wondering; does anyone else think that Ramsey isn't completely blameless for this?

Shawcross is in control of the ball and is about to clear it, and Ramsey is diving in. The speed at which he's travelling means he gets to the ball first and his foot is firmly planted in the ground. As Shawcross goes to kick the space where the ball was he instead kicks Ramseys inplanted foot.

That is pretty much what Arsenal defending legend David O'Leary said on Radio 5 Live Sports week this morning.

It was certainly no Roy Keane job that is certain.

You're a dick.

Not at all

Campbell is the biggest cnut going, $h!tting all over Spurs and their fans by the way he left us, trying to get Portsmouth closed down by suing them for £1.5m, $h!tting on Notts County and their fans

I wish Ramsey well , he seems a decent lad but had this been Campbell yesterday and not Ramsey I would been wishing gangrene and amputation on him but I would not for any other player

No, I stand by what I said. You're a dick.

Great final, Villa played well and Vidic should probably have been sent off but... KING ROONEY DOES IT AGAIN

Agreed on all counts, and at least Liverpool beat "Fat Sam" again! :cheer:

Well well well, an awful day for Posh (along with countless other awful days this season). We've lost our 2 best midfielders, with Jake Livermore going back to Spurs due to an apparent midfield injury crisis for them, and captain George Boyd making a loan move to Nottingham Forest. Best of luck to George, should play a big part in keeping up Forest's push for promotion. Apparently Lee Frecklington is also wanted by Preston, we're in serious danger here of just losing all our players

I'm absolutely delighted with the signing of George Boyd. He's a brilliant player and 12 goals this season from the wing at the team at the bottom of the league is a fantastic record. I hope he can help fire us to the Premiership as this signing has certainly made me a bit more optomistic. 144 consecutive appearances for Posh too, a fantastic achievement.

I've been reading around the internet and the reaction of Peterbrough fans to his departure as been incredibly admirable, with most understanding his decision and wishing him well. It's a shame you couldn't give him a good send off, however I hope we see a large away following at the City Ground in 18 days time.

Yeah most seem to be understanding his decision, it is a bit disappointing though because we were looking like giving it a real go at staying up, and with a few of our best players leaving, the hope has slipped a bit. We only had 1 shot on target at the weekend, hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come without Boyd in the side.

Will he be allowed to play against us? I'm not totally sure on that rule tbh, does it have to be agreed by the 2 clubs?

George Boyd is one of those players that I don't think fans can hate. I remember when he was in the Conference, the Stevenage fans all knew he had to leave as he was too good for them, and all the Stevenage fans still worship him like a God. He's a very good signing.

Well, Carlisle bounced back at the weekend after a mini slump. Not quite sure why the slump occurred after our biggest win of the season against a very good side pushing for a play off place.

Hope Ramsey makes a speedy recovery.

Unexpected defeat for Huddersfield last night. Southampton could well nick a play off place if they are lucky. I am going to see this side play against Carlisle at Wembley. Should be a good game based on their current free scoring run as a neutral, butterflies are arriving here.
