I'm a Man U fan and as far as I'm concerned that f*cking c*nt Christiano Ronaldo is NOT welcome back at Old Trafford -_- He already did enough being a bloody traitor (well it's only rumours but it's probably true) with the way he's said he wants to go Real Madrid (going there is fine but the way he's doing it is wrong -_- ) Rooney shouldn't have been sent off but HE should have got two yellow cards for amount of dives he did :rolleyes: I thought we played well today ESPECIALLY Hargreaves and Ferdinand but it's another match when it's not particularly the team who loses it but the f*cking ref being on the other side. :angry: Sven DID make a mistake too, YES by having Rooney on his own at front and of course not forgetting not taking Defoe too. -_- At least we got to the Quarter Finals FAIR AND SQUARE. -_- This was also quite personal for me considering Portuguese people are the most rude, narrow minded and homophobic people I've ever seen :mellow: (that's on more than just a few people too)

He might have done, but England have the best group of players at the present time than most other England sides, that is why he's a bad manager. He is too close to certain players which a manager shouldn't be, but on a good not people are already preparing to give Ronaldo abuse :cheer: .

For supposed to have the best midfield in the world, England played poorly in every game. They may have got to the QF, but be honest can you honestly say they deserved to progress, they just beat Paraguay a fifth rate South American team, they struggled against Trinidad ,lol, couldn't beat Sweden, toiled against Ecuador,and the first time they come up against a half decent team they blow it.

 

It was not the cheating or non cheating by Ronaldo or Portugal, England never looked liked scoring ever. If England got a penalty by Crouch or Rooney diving you would have taken it.

 

They played as poorly as a Scotland team, and trust me I've seen a few.

Ronaldo butted Rooney before the match though but, oh, that gets ignored. SUPRISE SUPRISE. Rooney didn't really warrant a red card to be fair, his leg was already there and he just put his foot down. It's not as though it was an aggressive stamp on him. Ronaldo DESERVED to be pushed as well. There's no need for him to get involved in the situation were he is in Roo's face and he has to push him to get him away.

I may be slightly biased in Englands favour but that's EXACTLY how I see it.

Irrelavent, as a Man Utd fan you will remember Keane getting sent off for a stamp on a player, you will remember Cantona getting sent off for stamping on a player, you do that in a game its a red card and then Rooney went and pushed someone

Considering we had our best player sent off and our captain off the field for half of the game I'd say we played bloody EXCELLENT. If Portugal had Ronaldo sent off, Figo off injured and England had all 11 men on the pitch then I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have had to go to penalties to win it.

Cheating to me is cheating it doesn't matter who does it or against who, a lot of players that cheated in the world cup play in England, Joe Cole would have got a gold medal in the olympics for one of his dives then there is Henry and so on, cheats are cheats whoever they play for

There's a difference between stamping on somebody, in the fashion that Keane and Cantona did and in a sense the way Becks kicked Simeone, and putting your foot down when you've got your foot stuck in another mans genital region. I'm not too much of a Rooney fan myself, heck we even played better WITHOUT him, but as far as I can see it was NEVER a sending off. If we're having moral standards like that then SURELY Ronaldo should've also seen red for provocative behaviour towards Roo and for continual diving (it must have been at LEAST 10 dives in that game).

Well yes there were a handful of players who underachieved this WC, Lampard being a PRIME example and to a point I agree that the Rooney sending off did lose us the match as, with a full strength XI out there we would've won it, but the fact of the matter is I don't believe that Roo should've got a red. There's no doubt that we could've won with Roo on the pitch but that still doesn't mean I feel the card was justified.
