I actually liked 'Old before I die' when I first heard it.

The first song I really loved ( predictably enough) was Angels.

Old Before I die is the song which made me take notice. Before that i just thought he was a joke out of a manifactued boy band but then i really liked this song. :)

Lazy Days and South of the border also made be really pay attention cause they were alot more rock than pop which i was shocked by

Then once Angels was released i bought Life Thru a lens and it remains my favourite album.

I am not sure which song got me on board, I think it was a realisation that all the songs I did like at the time were his.

Angels, No Regrets come to mind.

for me it was supreme, i loved that song when i first heard it...it was my first real robbie song that i loved. it was the first song i learnt all the lyrics to and to this day it remains one of my favourites
First song of Robbie that I heard was FEEL  . Than I desided must to by ESCAPOLOGY to me!!! After that, my second love song was COME UNDONE, than ANGELS  , and after that I heard other Robbie's songs. B)
Actually i did'nt really love Angels when it first came out but it really grew on me. But Millenium was probebly the first i really loved.
this has to be angels

Hearing Angels on the radio the first time made me think, wow, who is this guy

 Yep, ANGELS is very very special song!!!

i've been a fan since i was like 13...so don't kill me when i found heavan lol...

but had i only been introduced to his music when i was older, it would have been something like south of the border or strong...

robbie's really witty and i think that comes out in his music..

of course, angels was really good as well..

It was definitely Angels that made me stop and think - it really spoke to me at a difficult time and I realised that life wasn't going to break me!! :D

Forever Texas - Live Old Trafford, 29th July 2001

I went home a changed woman

well the first song that I liked was rock dj.I didn t know many robbie s songs before that but after that I bought all of his albums...lol

I know EXACTLY when I became a fan.

"Millenium" was released in early 99 (in the US) and I thought..."Hmmm...this guy is pretty good." But I didn't look any furthur. But then when I was 8 months pregnant, my doctor made me stay home to rest...so I watched A LOT of tv during the day.

Mtv2 had "South of the Border" in HIGH rotation and I became INSTANTLY hooked!!! I don't know if it was the hormones raging or Robbie himself, but I fell and fell HARD!!!!! I had my baby in June and went to see Duran in Orlando in August...and had NO IDEA Robbie came to the House of Blues right after that!!!! I was SO upset I missed him!

Little did I know I missed my one and only chance at seeing him live...I still haven't forgiven myself for it.

But I've been a hardcore fan ever since...so 7 years isn't too bad for an American fan!

During that same time was when he played Net Aid and I saw it on tv and I remember watching him thinking he was just SO amazing on stage...which made my depression even greater, lol!

Angels. It was what made me notice him. I never liked Take That.
