Do video downloads count towards UK Singles Charts?

Thanks... other countries have no started to count them, I was wondering if UK had already followed suit!

I don't think they count. It would makes sense however if the are being bought for a price greater or equal to the value of the single.

Does the three format rule still stand?

For physicals, yes AFAIK :)

yup, still three formats for physicals and also three for digital bundles (albeit not technically formats but rather three different bundled packages) but for individual download tracks there's an unlimited amount that count.

 

Video downloads do not count at present, that much is correct!
