Posted June 28, 200619 yr http://www.axelmusic.com/resources/covers/0/097360421620.jpg I got this recently and enjoyed it even though it was a very 80s production and of course not as slick as modern films in this genre. The film stars lots of people who were probably lost down the back of the sofa sometime in 1993  but also Harry Dean Stanton from big love and James Spader who is playing a complete knob (however not at his slimiest best like the 'wolf' in Secretary   ) Actaully, and i dont know why Andie (molly ringwold) reminded me of Kate Beckinsale, especially when she smiled, which is always a good thing!!! however must say the retro styled folk she hung around with were a bit confusing to me especially Duckie who i thought was the 'gay best friend' character for a lot of the film. then again that might be the problem viewing a film from the 1980s in 2006 thinking it will be like romcoms released in the last few years. even so a good purchase!!! Anyway should this film be remade? and if so who would you cast in the main parts.
