Holiday was only at #9 on the Big Top 40 last week. So that's at about 6' oclock when they `lock it down` or whatever they say.

That means Get Sexy is doing better.

I don't think that's harmed it as such, the general public where the big single sales come from wouldn't have known of it. It just doesn't seem to have made any sort of impression from what I can tell, which is a shame. :(

Of course it's harmed it. Hype begins on the internet, people spread the word from there via facebook or word of mouth or whatever, and when Say It first garnered hype it was still months off release. By July any excitement around the release was already dead even on the forums.

That certainly hasn't happened among anyone I know, big single sales come from casual memebrs of the public... which it hasn't clicked with.
