Agreed, as I said before he won thanks to the "Darren Gough journey syndrome".

 

By far the best two dancers of the series finished 2nd & 3rd.

SO HAPPY CHRIS WON! It's not ALL about the clean lines and pointed feet, Ali was beautiful to look at, but had all the personality of a stuffed otter when she danced. Ricky was somewhere in between, technically brilliant and he sold the dances, I think overall he was probably the best dancer this series, but most entertaining? Definitely Chris - that Charleston was flawless and deserved 5 10s, it was CRIMINALLY undermarked first time around! Really good to see a nice guy finish first too... from disaster dancer to a competent performer in the space of a few short weeks, and gentlemanly all along, WELL DESERVED.

I didn't watch the final but I watched the first couple of dancers and remember Chris as being DIRE.

 

If only Jade hadnt injured herself :( I'd have supported her for the win. Didnt partically support any of the finalists.

He wasn't very good at all - but he improved a hell of a lot. It's much more refreshing to watch somebody develop into something really good in front of our eyes, rather than somebody who has been superb from the start.

 

But surely the best dancer should win. Ricki was the best dancer by far, the best celebrity that has ever been on SCD IMO.

He was amazing from the start, there was like no progression. It's always great to see somebody evolve into a great dancer after time - they've improved in front of our eyes ... personally I'd much rather see that than somebody who has been able to do it from Day One.
