Great performance - and amazing interview, she's such a bubbly person, and true to herself. Like the song now, the 30 second clip I heard of it didn't do it justice at all!

Loved the performance! The interview was lovely, she has such a great personality.
Was on Chartshow before ^_^ so definately getting a few plays on tv.
A better performance ^_^ improvement on the last time she did it anyway mixing in with the backing singers. Love the interview.

She so is, she's like the perfect singer and has the perfect personality. I think that's one of her better TV performances this era.

The interview seemed quite well researched as well, though as a loon I already knew about everything but the chip shop thing I think. Some of the things they talked about were exactly the same as her last appearance in 2007. I'm sure I recognised him talking about blasting her music and Julian Clary commenting and I think he talked about her MBE back then as well. I swear it's mentioned in every interview...she got it in 2007!

It's a shame they didn't mention the single after the performance! Would have been good if she talked about the sample, Chipmunk, the video etc.

That's the best way to describe her.

That's most likely due to This Morning. She was great on there, another lovely interview and a fantastic performance.

I've just heard this, absolutely brill, love the video too  If this is not a hit, there is NO JUSTICE.
Down to #375 :( but then again it is the weekend.

Looks like there's no justice! :(

Can't believe this is doing so badly! Performances on Paul O'Grady and This Morning, video with Chipmunk, what's wrong with Bev to the public?!

Back upto #477 now, must have been the weekend effect that caused the drop.

Without wishing to offend any of her fans but the biggest problem I think is her target audience. Since Who I Am onwards she has mainly appealed to the middle England, middle aged type audience and they're not exactly the most teccy type of people, she's probably lost loads sales due to the fact that she has gone down the digital only route.

Even though I'm extremely happy for her that she has gone down the independant route, I'm not so sure that she has the resources to do this. EMI were able to provide her with a much bigger platform to promote (even though they never did nearly enough) but they did twice as much as she has been able to do independantly.

I hate EMI anyway so I'm glad she's no longer with them regardless. That sounds a bit selfish though.

I suppose that's true but I find that her fanbase is actually quite young. Online (and at the two gigs I've been to this year) it seems the majority of her fans are males aged 18-25 and then middle aged women, so it shoudn't be so much of an issue. Then again, perhaps it's because I've only seen her in this (more digitially based) era that I've noticed that.

It goes without saying she'd have done better releasing physical singles. As far as I know "The Queen Of Starting Over" was her first single to miss the top 200 and I don't think it's a coincidence that it was also her first download only single. I think this song is unfortunately set to go the same way.

I don't see how she could have had any more promotion (TV program wise) than she had with EMI. She's been on This Morning, Loose Women, Paul O'Grady, Jools Holland, GMTV and the Alan Titchmarsh Show (to name just the terrestrial TV appearances) so far this year, I don't think it got that much bigger than that with her previous label. I think she had a Strictly appearance before, but she performed something that hasn't been on any of her albums? (pointless)
