Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV

Discussion Thread Here

Actually since we have mids info and the iTunes chart, the official charts on Sundays are not that exciting anymore :o

Yeah. I'm more excited on mids than the Sunday's chart. :heehee:

Or are people just on holiday and etc.?

If Dizzee gets number one this week who was the last act to get three consecutive number ones
Yeah. I'm more excited on mids than the Sunday's chart. :heehee:

Or are people just on holiday and etc.?

i dont really look at the mids that much cause it ruins the chart for me :(

if i see a man waving does this mean im coming home :yahoo:

Yeah. I'm more excited on mids than the Sunday's chart. :heehee:

Or are people just on holiday and etc.?

i think it might also be because there's not banner at the top of the main forum page linking to here. that's how i usually find this thread when i'm looking at the forum but it wasn't there today so i had to search for it.
