Pitbull entre dans une 7ème semaine consécutive en tête des charts singles avec "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)", c'est le plus long bail au sommet depuis "Beggin'" de Madcon en octobre 2008, même si Magic System et Khaled ont été numéro un pendant sept semaines non-consécutives avec "Même Pas Fatigué !!!". Il s'agit de ventes extrêmement faibles pour un leader (3665) en comparaison de celles de David Guetta feat. Akon avec "Sexy Bitch" (7855) dans les téléchargements. Néanmoins, le triste record est toujours détenu par "Womanizer" de Britney Spears avec seulement 3155 exemplaires en janvier dernier. Laurent Wolf assure un troisième top 10 grâce à "Walk The Line Remix" entré en huitième position après "No Stress" (feat. Eric Carter) premier une semaine en avril 2008 et "Wash My World" (au même featuring) numéro 5 en août 2008. Arctic Monkeys atteint sa meilleure place dans les charts singles avec le premier extrait de leur nouvel album "Humbug", "Crying Lightning" 23ème améliorant le score de "Brianstorm" 44ème en avril 2007. Quant à Sarah Michelle, après la 11ème place de "Je Veux Vivre" en mai, elle entre 24ème avec "My Besta". Aux albums, The Black Eyed Peas avec "The E.N.D." récupèrent la pole-position sept semaines après l'avoir quittée. C'est le plus gros écart entre deux passages en tête depuis Mika et "Life In Cartoon Motion" en juillet 2007 (sa vacance du pouvoir avait duré 13 semaines). Il faut néanmoins préciser que la meilleure vente réelle d'albums est la compilation "NRJ Extravadance" qui dépossède du pouvoir "Thriller" de Michael Jackson, leader huit semaines consécutives. Tom Frager & Gwayav' atteignent leur meilleur classement avec la 5ème place de "Better Days" en 6ème semaine malgré la perte de la première place aux téléchargements titres. On peut tout de même souligner la popularité de ce titre qui fait vendre à lui seul l'album (avec la complicité de France 2). Sean Paul fait une entrée décevante (8ème) avec "Imperial Blaze". On pouvait attendre mieux d'un artiste présent 37 semaines dans le top 50 albums avec "Dutty Rock" en 2003. Il avait même fait mieux avec son album suivant, "The Trinity" sorti en octobre 2005, présent 47 semaines dans le top 50 dont 10 dans le top 10 (meilleur classement : 5ème). A l'époque, il enchainait les tubes : "Ever Blazin'" (N°8, "Temperature" (N°4) et "Never Gonna Be The Same" (N°10). Mais ces performances ont été réalisées en 2006 et il semble que Sean Paul ne s'est pas trop renouvelé depuis. Les résultats du premier single étaient un bon indicateur, "So Fine" n'étant que 18ème dans un marché sinistré. On peut être déçu aussi pour Roch Voisine qui entre 9ème avec "Americana Vol. 2" avec 5127 ventes. Son prédécesseur était lui arrivé 3ème avec 9912 exemplaires vendus et était resté 13 semaines dans le top 50 dont 3 dans le top 10. Sera-t-il capable d'accomplir la même performance ? A suivre la semaine prochaine : David Guetta avec le très attendu "One Love" déjà premier des téléchargements albums, le nouvel album des Arctic Monkeys "Humbug" (assuré de la première place au Royaume-Uni ce dimanche), Maurane avec "Nougaro Ou L'Espérance En L'Homme" ou encore Dolores O'Riordan et son "No Baggage". September 3, 200915 yr digital sales are low, but they'd make a hell of an impact. He said the #1 physical sold 3.5k vs the 7.5k of the digital #1 (David Guetta). Since downloads arent counted, he's not in the chart. But he's been selling well for the past weeks.
