Posted September 11, 200915 yr Hall-Musique : * Quicksand is one smash hits of your album among others and was used as a "buzz single". Are you considering giving the track a proper commercialization ?  Elly : * No plans yet because first we have to release I'm Not Your Toy followed by As If By Magic, then maybe Fascination. I think it would feel odd to go back to Quicksand. http://www.hall-musique.net/2009/09/la-rou...eau-single.html
September 11, 200915 yr it's a nice single on the album, probably the 4th best on it however my favourite, 'cover my eyes' isn't mentioned :(. gotta say it's good she's not releasing 'armour love' though...
September 11, 200915 yr No! 'As If By Magic' = weak track. :(Â I would like either 'Tigerlily' or 'Cover My Eyes'... Edited September 11, 200915 yr by FM11
September 11, 200915 yr I would have much preferred a re release of "Quicksand" or "Tigerlily" as fourth single.
September 12, 200915 yr 'Quicksand' REALLY deserves a proper single release, it'll be a shame if they used their absolute best song as merely a "buzz" single.
September 14, 200915 yr Cover My Eyes needed a christmas release :( and wtf at Fascination its awful.
September 14, 200915 yr Author This song really doesn't scream hit to me at all. It's flawless but it's not what people are going to be interested in, there really is nothing commercially appealing to it. IFTK had the high pitched vocals, Bulletproof had the classic chorus, this doesn't have anything. . If she wanted to have 3 top 10s/big hits in a row she should have released Cover My Eyes, it's a complete turn around from Bulletproof and IFTK in sound. Still being superb at the same time, a La Roux ballad after two huge up-tempo singles is what was going to continue her success. Not choosing similar sounding singles that deteriorate with every release in terms how good each are overall. AIBM is stictly an album track, CME is anything but. A Quicksand re-release would've been intelligent as well. But this no, and Fascination hell no.
