It'd be great if "How Do You Do!" gets a release... it's one of my faves from "Oral Fixation Volume Two".

My ideal single choice next would be a timor/LDLI double single, but more realisticly I think we'll have animal city and illegal, though im not sure on the order.

 

FO1 was great for Shakira. After 4 years of no studio recordings, she came back with a bang with LT, FO1 is on about 5 mil now according to univision and after only 2 singles, I wouldnt call it a flop. Hell it got to #4 on billboard, making it the fastest selling latin album.

 

The Fixation project on the whole has been really successful, I mean LT and HDL have been 2 of the biggest songs ever, and for them to come from the same project, thats amazing

 

I also have this about FO1, but theres probably things it misses as well :P

In most countries - FO1 has been promoted off La Tortura alone. Only in Latin America has it had the three single releases. So it's definately a complete success IMO.

I agree a 100% with you. Not only does she make her own music, but also the songs she makes are very deep. She happened to have released the up-tempo ones, and that's probably what people expect from her, but she's far way deeper than that. Her lyrics are amazing!
