  • Talk On Corners: Special Edition
  • Unplugged
  • In Blue
  • In Blue: Special Edition
  • The Best Of The Corrs

While The Corrs are on a hiatus, Andrea Corr has been preparing a solo career. Her solo album "Present", produced by Nellee Hooper, will be released early next year. Also, she has starred in a couple of movies:

  • The Commitments
  • Evita
  • Quest For Camelot
  • The Boys & Girl From County Clare
  • The Bridge [buy it on DVD!]
  • Broken Thread [out in 2007]
  • Knife Edge [in production]

Album news!!!! :cheer: :yahoo:

Jim, apparently, has been quite active in charity work these days..

He was on RTE Radio One this morning discussing ORBIS and World Sight Day. He was in Ethiopia with the Flying Eye Hospital not long ago and has plans to go to India and Ethiopia in December and January!

Anyway, on the musical front, Jim mentioned that they are going to release an album possibly before the end of the year – something they’re currently working on with friends Bono, The Chieftains and Ron Wood! :D

You can hear back the interview on the RTE site.

Click on "Thursday" after you scrolled a bit down. In the player, fast forward to around 1:47:20!

I have In Blue, Borrowed Heaven and the Best of album

Bono s-Corrs Andrea's album

October 13, 2006

BONO has teamed up with fellow Irish crooner ANDREA CORR on her new solo album.

The U2 legend has been drafted in as executive producer on the brunette’s first project since THE CORRS decided to have a break in 2004.

Bono is an ideal choice for Andrea to work with — The Corrs supported U2 on one of their world tours and the two spent so much time together there were rumours of a romance . . . which he denied.

Still, I bet they’ll make sweet music together.

i love the corrs have all there albums which are brilliant and im really looking forward to hearing andrea's solo stuff

That is an odd tracklisting. Some singles missing, but Hopelessly Addicted as the opening track...Is it going to be a remix or something?

what a strang tracklisting... it sounds like a typical fake from taiwan, but obv its not.

it seems that there interested in promoting the tracks from mainly BH and Home. hardly suprising though. but im just wondering if therell be any promo..

6. Only When I Sleep

7. Breathless

17. Haste To The Wedding

18. I Know My Love (featuring The Chieftains) - still TBC

19. Brid Og Ni Mhaille

20. Toss The Feathers

And there's more: it seems the album is being postponed till "a more appropriate time next year". To me, this is VERY unprofessional. First we have no news at all about this, then about a month before the release this album is "announced". Now, just a week later, it's been put on hold (with only a month before release). Various retail sites still have the album listed. And "a more appropriate time"?? When's that?! This is supposed to be an in-between album, perhaps even their very last for/at Atlantic and it's most suitable for the holiday season. I'm totally lost. -_-

Thanks for the info.
Is the artwork new? It looks kinda dated..like from the In Blue Era

No it's not new.. it's from 2000/2001..:)

Online retail sites are listing different variations in the tracklist. Some left off Long Night or I Know My Love and some Forgiven Not Forgotten. Or some are listing the Unplugged version of Radio and some don't, etc.

The official site should be coming with a tracklist later this week.

Yesterday I got word that "Goodbye" will be the new single of the album.

Today, we got a confirmation that "Goodbye" indeed will be a single! In the UK, "Goodbye" will be send to radio stations, though it will only be available for purchase on iTunes. And it's expected that The Corrs will also be making some appearances on TV. In Holland, a physical single will be released with some extensive TV promotion. B)

In other "Goodbye" news; Brian Rawlings (who remixed the song) has commented that for the remix, he changed the groove of the song, though he kept faithful to the feeling of it. The remix also features some guitar riffs by none other than U2!

well my-gosh :o i am suprised!

i hope a phsycal is released in the Uk, though im not that bothered if it is or not. this is really exciting! i cant wait to hear the new remix :D

thank you for letting us know.
