BuzzJack has been around for nearly 8 years and for most of this time Jester has been an Admin. It goes without saying the gratitude I have for someone who has led the site through many changing waters and has always given his best. His focus has always been in the chart section which BuzzJack is so well known for and due to time commitments we have both agreed that Jester will move into a Chart Mod role. This will still allow him to dedicate his time to the chart while not having the additional duties and responsibilities of an Admin. THANK YOU Matt for the good times, for keeping things running and for being such a great person to have around the site :D

moderating is much more than just what the word suggests and involves actually running your small area of BuzzJack. This in turn means trying to get new members to join, making sure it makes sense to new people who join up and also everyone (including the mods) getting a piece of what they want from everything! Mods are in a great positions to drive that while also getting the satisfaction from the end result. With all forums there will be things that can be changed but having an active main forum or AF is no small feat and takes many months of planning and building. As we grow we will offer more features to AF and MF mods but I have no problem with popularity, however it is attained. B&I might sometimes be repetitive but people keep coming back and not just taking part in them but also being active in other topics / parts of the forum. When the new site goes live and we work through having new content and exciting features this traffic will be important for us to organically grow!

maybe you have some caching issue with your browser. When you return to the inbox after deleting the message can you press CTRL F9 and tell me if the message disappears?

if you are in the message and press the icon "Delete" it will delete the message and return to the inbox. Just checked and this works as expected. If you are viewing all your messages and check the box by one or more and then scroll to the bottom of the page and select delete this will also delete the message(s) and return to the inbox. Also just checked and working as expected. Can you advise what area you believe is not working? So after deleting the message you still see it in your inbox? If so what browser and operating system are you using?

the server is moving (being unplugged, put in a truck and transported to the new datacenter) so there will be no change at all and no other expected issues.

All, from Thursday 30th January 10PM to Friday 31st January 6AM our server will be moving! Our current hosts are migrating all servers to their main datacenter. The server and BuzzJack will not be reachable during this time. currently we provide a notification letting the person know there has been a response. I am developing a new site and will consider adding this at a later date so you would see also the message. For artist forums you request it in the Feature Request forum. We have a topic for Artist Request Rules and Getting Started which will also be helpful!

i have just tested this and you will receive something similar to the below. The digest (different option on the same page) might give topic content but I would test this yourself and see what option you prefer. What do you feel strongly about?

sure when you go into a topic at the top you can "Track this topic" which will inform you of replies to the topic. You can also "Subscribe to this forum" which is more general and will inform you of all new topics in the chosen forum.

the idea is for it to only effect images which are bigger in size than the browser window so it will only impact those. Are you viewing on a mobile or PC? I dont see it reduced...

this movie will be fantastic!!! Just was reminded im seeing it in 2 weeks and so watched the trailer again and really looking forward to it. I work in banking so maybe will be a different angle for me but I believe it brings together the years of excess and how nothing can last forever. Many critics have given it the thumbs up apart from the FT who probably by their very nature need to be critical of a movie about banker excess :D

no new rules although just making sure there are people around to help the forum is always a bonus :D We ideally would like Robbie fans to bring other Robbie fans as it makes the forum more enjoyable for all involved but you two have been a good duo for many years!!

'View New Posts' has always been on the member bar (top right), it was just duplicated on the stats section.

At the top of the page it will now tell you if there is new content (new review, new picture in the Gallery) since the last time you viewed the feature. So if you check the Gallery now and a picture is added 5 minutes later you will see a green circle near the Gallery from the moment this picture is approved until you go back to the Gallery area. This should help make us a bit more interactive. As a result of this I have removed the statistics section at the top of the forum page. The general statistics are now at the bottom of the page and the last Gallery images have now been replaced by this new interactive element. Any questions or issues post a comment below :D

We have been working to make the Your Charts section more relevant and focussed. This is now live and includes: The merging of the following forums: Indie, Alternative and Specialist Forum Rock, Punk and Metal Forum To create a new forum: Indie, Rock and Alternative The changing of some forum names to be more descriptive of the genre they are in combined with refreshed and updated descriptions!There will be small updates over time as we work with the new setup and any comments welcome :D

I got more into dance from the Judge Jules slot many years ago on Radio 1, I would listen to it religiously and the show went on for many years!! Then I came down to London and started to go to Fabric, Ministry and all the big clubs for big nights. Mainly into progressive and hard house although the older I get the less I listen to this!!
