which advert is this please?

excellent, articles are really good for you to attract more people to your page from google and other search engines :D

hey Ashley - you just click 'pending' and it will then promote it to live. Moderators have full control over this :D

excellent glad it is not the site and also that you identified the issue :D

hi, this is due to the style sheet not loading, on a very rare occasion this might happen due to problem over the internet or a current download on your PC taking up a lot of the connection (many more reasons than this). Not something on the server unless others are having the same problem.

again, and as always, a great read :D The article is being read by more and more people in both the forum and front page and im glad it is getting good exposure considering the amount of effort that goes into it each week!!

i thought the miming was pretty terrible for someone of Britneys experience and the costume and act came across as very Madonna'esque although there were good parts, it wasnt a bad song and she looks like she is back on tracks :D At the end she could have made some more effort saying more than two word replies. Its such a simple thing and for PR and marketing its a big plus.

yeah its very strange (/wp-includes) is word press includes. I will wait to see if this issue comes up again as we dont use wordpress (or any of our ads). Thanks :D

apologies, my fault ! It was down for about 7 minutes while I copied across our database to the development area.

not sure what to suggest. We have no file with that name on the server !! Maybe a toolbar, widget etc? Unless others are having the same issue?

hi Ricky, are you connecting to the site using a proxy? http://www.sp-12.info/nph-index.cgi/011110A/x-proxy/start There is no file such as the above on the server so thats the only suggestion I can give...

might be a slow pc but looks like not a general issue unless others comment.

where did you find this? Thanks

not sure as the main area on the site for optimisation is the topic view as thats where most people are (and are refreshing/ posting). The save of one query (with join) seems to help us when we are at the 400+ levels. When we had it on the site would crash at this level... maybe wrong on this but so far it seems to work! Issue is we only need a quad core server for like 1 hour a week and for the rest our current server is more than able to handle the traffic. US server is not an option tbh due to speed difference so will look around.

thanks Ricky, switched off topic user list while we are at these peaks. Works well and saves a query per refresh per user! Might need to consider upgrading to a quad core server.

no problem :). Just a better way of organising event forums which have seasonal activity!

before each category block was split up by a space as well as a coloured row which served no purpose but to seperate the forums. In fact it added a lot to the length of the forum list. Now the forums are back to back. Hopefully this will make the forum list easier to read without so many brakes.

the Eurovision forum will (if needed) be brought out onto the main forum page again nearer to the contest :D

After member and staff feedback we have decided to consolidate our forum list. 'Gaming and Technology Discussion' and 'The Book Corner' have been removed and this discussion can now be found in the lounge going forward! We have also streamlined the forum list, removing some space and hopefully making the list shorter and more readable!

im going to see the film will report back :D

[vimeo]1990844[/vimeo] done :D
