  1. its a difficult call. This bar will be much more than just a system to browse your favourite artists but a quick link to interacting all over BuzzJack in our future features. I will collate all feedback over the next week and then step back and decide what is best based on that feedback.
  2. not currently - I am taking all feedback on the bar in this system. It is the best way for being able to jump to your favourite artists. It also will have more information on in the future. Does it keep to the bottom of the screen? What part is the issue?
  3. Huh

cant have JS enabled. I will be working v soon on a non JS system.
  4. yeah, the bottom bar is in fact one of the hardest things I have had to put together but very necessary :D If you have over 39 favourite artists then you will have issues with the bar right now, although the average is 5 favourite users. I need to change the bar so it appears on top of all content - will work on this. Can you provide a s/s of the page where the text is overunning? I have tested in all browsers and its ok...
  5. what browser are you using on the second point? Know about the first one and will work for a solution asap
  6. hello BuzzJack :D - for months we have been working on expanding out of the current forum based system, giving moderators more tools to create and publish content about what they are truly passionate about. Globally there is now a floating bottom feature bar which is the basis for our future growth. Clicking 'Your Artists' will give you a quick list of your chosen artists and allow you to quickly navigate to their respective artist pages. What is an Artist Page Moderators of each artist are able to post news and content viewable only through the artist page. You can then comment on the news and interact in our version of an artist fan site! BuzzJack brings together the strength and depth found on any artist site with the choice of keeping up to date with your top artists, all at once, in one place! Let us know what you think of the new system and suggestions welcome :D --------------------------- NB for a quick view of artist pages that have already been populated please visit the below: http://www.buzzjack.com/artists/Anastacia/ http://www.buzzjack.com/artists/Britney-Spears/ http://www.buzzjack.com/artists/The-Killers/
  7. above looks good. See here: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?a...de=det&id=1 If we can have changes to the award for people who win multiple times that will help :D

do you have javascript off in your browser? What browser are you using?
  9. No problem with me! If the mods agree and you have someone design one I will add it :D
  10. in politics a month is a long time - never mind 2 years... So much can happen and be achieved that its probably not the Conservatives Gordan is most worried about right now but his own back benchers!
  11. there is no doubt the financial crisis has cost the government money but most of the effected banks are in the US or under the EU. I cant see the cost being anywhere near needing a 5% increase income tax... thats huge not to mention the cash windfall the goverment got through the increase in oil prices. Taxing 50% + in high earners is also wrong. Most of the people earning this amount of money are highly skilled and add much more in terms of innovation and forward thinking. If we tax these people too much they will just move to another country to work and we will lose the innovation and skills. Its so easy to say lets tax them but tbh there is no way you can risk losing them. Final point, govt spending on pet projects is very small numbers in relation to possible bail outs of major financial institutions.
  12. this has been a week to remember and learn from :). I work for a big investment bank in London and with Bear Stearns, then Lehman going bankrupt, then ML being bought by BoA and the AIG bail out by the US Treasury its been very eventful - and now the Lloyds TSB buy out of HBOS. Its interesting being so close to the action and hear people discussing and making decisions on all of this. The government in the UK and US has stopped short selling until at least the end of the year which will gives stocks some respite. If you have deposits dont worry as the government protect the first £35k.
  13. we do not allow: http://img80.imageshack.us/my.php?image=boardmessagezc7.jpg as without going into detail if we did people could hack us. When you go to the above URL you need to right click and properties to get the true URL to the picture: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9172/boardmessagezc7.jpg
  14. can you pls provide the link tot he image?
  15. all over, Federer played very well.. Not sure about Sports Personality, Andy Murrey is a terrible personality ! and unless everything is going his way tends to sulk instead of face up to things.

at work and here it is fine, no issues; are other sites slow also?

true, I use it on other forums to see if people are appearing offline but still online. The only real solution is to remove it completely and not a big enough issue to go that far.

appear offline only removes you from the online list, your last seen is updated as if it was not it would be inaccurate.

v strange. I access the site from home on a desktop and laptop from work and also now on holiday all with no problems at all. Never times out and always loads the page fast... I take the comments seriously and will keep checking this thread to see if others have the same issue.
