Philip

just authorized them :) Also welcome to BuzzJack :D

We have entered into an affiliate scheme with emusic, play.com and HMV. The list will change and be enhanced over time B) If you click through on the banners and buy something or subscribe (emusic) BuzzJack.com gets a %. Great all round and definately worth its own topic :D. As we grow ads are a part of the landscape but I want the ads to be relevant and interesting to the community. Phil

I-10 Points J A G E M K D L B-1 Point Really excellent standards :D. V hard to choose between a few of them!

thanks for letting me know, now fixed :D

one of the things coming up on my to do list now :D. I want to offer something for our groups and then add the Reviews section :)

added some links back on the right as well for various reasons :)

is this link OK for everyone? The last ad was long and thin this is just square, pretty standard on a lot of homepages. Allows us to pay our £1400/ year server costs ;)

it does not include member pictures and even when a guest clicks on a pick it will display an error saying they need to be logged in to view the gallery :) On the top bar there is a 'Forums' link. Maybe we also need three different links on the right sidebar to the different areas (Music, Entertainment, Discussion)?

The BuzzJack homepage has now been upgraded! The changes are visually small right now but the work behind the scenes has involved a few weeks to build the system. Summation of changes: Number of users on BuzzJack site Now able to view the forum online list to see which users are viewing the homepage Last 6 gallery pictures on the front page There is now a whole session and authentication system so future features and access can be based on forum / group permissions. If you are having any issues with using the homepage please post them in this thread! Thanks

checked and looks to be a valid bug. Will fix as soon as time allows, as it is not critical may be a few weeks.

this request has come up a number of times and I have now updated the max size to 100x100 :D

not right now will be in the future

fixed, was working to add something and it seems all error reporting was turned on...

agree, will be filtering these ads out.

All, We have now enabled the uploading of images in the graphics area!! No more uploading to third party sites required, you can upload your images, signatures, items in your portfolio for showcase etc all on BuzzJack :D. Hopefully this will make things much easier for everyone  Phil

Welcome to russt68 who is the new addition to our Graphics team :D He will be helping to move the area forward and im sure will be a valued member of the team - congrats!

unfortunately not as it is globally at the top. I am working on something to incorporate the AF banner into our own banner going forward so im hoping this will help.

it is essentially to put them in places that people will see them, So for members they are: Globally at the top At the bottom of each page of a topic and for guests there is an additional one after the first post in a topic. I will see how the top ad impacts :D

OK, you guys speak with your feet :D I have removed the side ad :)

All - currently we are spending over £200 per month on advertising which although sustainable has meant it is a MUST we add more advertising and ways to generate revenue to the site. We will tweak the settings and display over time and listen to any comments made :) As we grow we need a site that generates revenue to pay for future competitions, future design changes and any other associated software charges. We run the site for the community, the adverts are to make sure that BuzzJack's future remains strong and we are able to move forward in the directions we need.

Let me know if you have any questions on this via PM :)

go here: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...amp;mode=linear If it happens again you need to go into a topic (like this one) and on the drop down entitled 'Display Modes' select Standard

Hi Carbon, anyone is able to add pictures to a group gallery. Visit your AF in question and then click on "View Group Gallery". You then should have the option on the right to submit a picture. This will then be approved by a mod
