Added back the ability to hide/ show each category. This is on trial currently and I will take feedback seriously. For those who are not sure on the functionality, on the right of every category header is a small plus or minus. Toggle this to hide/ show the category block. In addition there is now a small image by the side of each sub-forum indicating if there have been any new posts.

still big issues with this. Will work on it a bit later.

its a firefox 'issue'. Works in IE will make it work in FF shortly!

was someone linking to a private MSN account. I PM'd them and removed the sig :)

not BuzzJack but someone linking to an external image which required a password!

fixed was someone's signature. Thanks for the s/s helped a lot in tracking this down

please close all instances of buzzjack then delete cookies and temp internet files (in tools >> Internet Options). Then login and try again. This should fix the issue.

is the site any faster today?

was testing with a few people today and although not fast it came back as average (not slow). The above website is incorrect as it doesnt download all of the files in unison but one after the other. The server is in Chicago and so this mean there is a 0.12 second delay per transaction. That times by the number of files puts the info out massively. The httpd.conf and my.cnf im sure do need configuring though.

All - it is with delight that Kelly has accepted the position of Admin on BuzzJack. Kelly has been with the site since the beginning and brings with her not only experience of the site and our goals but also the community itself. Congrats to Kelly, this can only be a positive for the site as we grow and appeal to a wider audience. Phil

please let me know on this. 'Every few minutes' is not the case as I myself do not and others do not have this. If you can let me know when and for how long I can then add this to a list and inform our hosts.

this is to do with the migration. The servers worldwide which take the site name and 'assign' it to a location (IP) all have to be updated. Hopefully this should now all have propogated.

are you adding www. before the domain?

trevs - you need to have cookies enables so you do not get logged out. Nothing on the board that will effect this. Also please post a new topic going forward as this is about a different issue.

the skin wont make any difference at all. There has been site slowdown recently which is to do with something completely seperate. Speeds should now be as per usual. Phil

still a few things outstanding. Right image has been updated but with just a div attribute. Not sure I know of display flicker.. for Mozilla they need a height attribute which is handled fully in the CSS..
