thanks Silas, its very annoying this hasnt been sorted by Google.. I never receive the ads but I can imagine the annoyance <_< These ads actually create popups? Very unusual...

sorry guys my fault. I "tidied up" an empty folder I thought we didnt need and it seems we do use it!
  3. this has happened to a few people so I have disabled the other topic view modes (which do not work anyway). The drop down is still there but changing selection will not be saved!
  4. this uploads fine on my PC. Do you receive an error message?
  5. hi, do you have a link to the avatar so I can try?

    added :D
  7. we have our site backup at this time so this would make sense. When the database is backed up it creates a lock which in turn locks users out of the site for a couple of minutes. Any random page cannot be displayed I dont believe is the server - I have never experienced it and our logs and uptime show that we are always online.. it could be that sometimes your ISP drops the packet / there was an issue routing your connection to our server but this is case by case.
  8. how often is not too often? Once a week or more? It could be possible (but rare) that this would happen..
  9. hi, split this post from the other topic as its a new issue. The website is always responsive across all platform - what time of day do you receive this? Can anyone else verify they have the same issue?

very strange, both in the forum and main search for the whole forum... working on the new site so these requests arent high priority but if I have time to check I will post here!
  12. not currently! Do you have any ideas from other sites you use?
  13. OK im going to contact google and try to get to the bottom of this. Its unacceptable for them to have ads which redirect to these areas! I will comment back once I have more
  14. :( let me see if any solutions have come up... I have also had it once or twice and i would expect (hope) Google should be on top of this
  15. i thought it was going to be one of those nights for Chelsea where a good start and lots of promise turned into nothing! Hitting the post twice!! But in the end (as usual) Mourinho's team through to the semis!
  16. Its fantastic the Sats have such an active community - very happy to see an AF thriving in this way :D One Direction also doing very well out of the latest ones added!
  17. congrats :D
  18. I always put my bet on the nose!! Prefer the fun of it but has lost me some second place finishes over the time.. Time to place my own bets :D
  19. when you say nothing happened, does that mean your also not able to connect with Firefox?
  20. what happens when you use a different browser? It must be something your end as over 40% of users on BuzzJack use chrome (including me) so if it is a widespread issue more would be complaining...
  21. really looking forward to this :D Going to look through form guides tomorrow and make a choice. Always like to watch it in the bookies but for convenience might watch it at home this time... Do you place your bets online or in the bookies? Im assuming online is more competitive?
  22. how annoying, it is varied across a few ads and so there is no way to block it. Many people are complaining against the publishers and Google so im hoping they do something about it quickly... I have had it twice and browse a fair bit so im hoping it is very infrequent for the average user. Will keep following the discussion online and see if there is a way I can block these without blocking all our ad categories (and therefore not being able to serve any ads at all!)
  23. Ok let me investigate again, maybe I can block this ad specifically. How often does this happen and is it always the GOW ad?

yes they do :D Was wondering if you would post here ;)
  25. wow shock!! It was only a few weeks ago I was berating him for his stance with TFL. Every time I go into a tube station all the staff are sitting around doing very little and / or talking to their co-workers and its never job related as I have overheard a few of the conversations! Also they negotiated 52k for a tube driver and im sure they will strike again once driverless tubes (which are present in other countries) come in... So on that premise I am not a fan of his but looking at what he has done he did fight his ground and make sure that the working class had a voice. Not only that he got them some healthy pay packets when private sector firms where cutting pay and laying off people...
