  1. They can do stuff like the Ride Pokémon feature from Gen 7, going back to having to use HMs on Pokemon would be stupid as it just wastes a move slot unless it's Surf/Fly/maybe Waterfall, Rock Climb is ok I guess but anything you'd realistically use it on would have Body Slam or something better.

Plus Defog has become a great, almost essential move competitively so there's implications there of making that available as a HM for basically any flying type!

It's the most iconic challenge - Snatch Game *.* Gemma Collins will be the challenge's guest, with Jessie Ware as the guest judge for the main stage portion.

Characters seem to be solidified in most cases (some previous tea appeared to be mixed up with the fact that other characters were mentioned as back-ups) from a reliable source as (we're not clear on A'whora or Sister yet):

    A'whora -

    Jenifer Coolidge/Charity Shop Sue/Louie Spence

    Bimini -

    Katie Price

    Ellie -

    Vicky Pollard

    Lawrence -

    Miriam Margoyles

    Sister Sister -

    Jennier Coolidge/Charity Shop Sue/Sally Morgan

    Tayce -

either Naomi Campbell or Jane Turner

    Tia

Mel B, the Tracy Beaker rumour seems to have confused with her being mentioned as a choice

    If

    Jane Turner

is really Tayce's I am so so hyped  Bimini's I'm most hyped for tho

  3. I thought this a fairly good challenge compared to what I expected. Symone and Olivia killed it, I actually thought Gottmik was pretty good too and deserves some credit as her and Olivia bounced off each other really well as a duo in that scene which is what improv is about. I'd argue at Symone, Olivia and Mik top, I love Denali and Rose but you can go too OTT in improv challenges I think. Olivia was a worthy winner, to have a role like that you could easily bomb but she took that and made it hilarious, plus her and Symone had the two best runways easily. Symone is going to go down as one of the best runway queens we've had when all is said and done, serve after serve.

Kandy top I was BAFFLED at, her runway was stunning but in the challenge.. really?? She wasn't BAD by any means, but I feel like she was still just herself but muted. "You let Ross speak" as a critique to justify being in the top is a new one on me  Yes that is what improv is about, but I felt she held back a bit too much. Symone held back and allowed the scene to breathe and gave others a chance to speak, but also ran with her role.

I agree with Utica being low to be honest :( Love love love her but whilst the idea was there, she just didn't pop in that scene and what the idea could have been didn't come out. Ross' forced baseball metaphor was right tbh, she got off the base but didn't get very far in, her runway was great though and you could see her trying more than Elliott and Lala so that was definitely the right bottom 2.

I think the problem is there's too many episodes for this series to fill so we're getting random challenges like this and the disco one, this feels kinda obsolete when Snatch Game is soon anyway. There's only so many types of challenges to do and if there's more episodes, you get more of the same types of challenge in worse ways I feel.

  4. The signs are all pointing the way I want them to, but like I said I'll believe 4th Gen remakes when I have the game in my hands at this point  I just hope they don't f*** it up, just leave it like Platinum with 8th gen engine and new moves since then, re-usable TMs etc, stuff like the added Fairy type, little quality of life improvements from SwSh like the easy breeding/EV training, the move relearner/nickname changer in each Pokemon centre. I guess you could argue they helped make SwSh too easy, but I think those things whilst leaving the game the same at its heart will address some of the issues with Gen 4 without taking away the great stuff. Platinum is my fave game so I hope they don't mess it up D:
  5. For me, and I've said this before, I just find Lawrence quite predictable. Not denying she's funny, I'm denying her wins (although I thought A'whora was better last week, that's just personal taste), I just think her humour whilst she is very quick witted and makes me laugh, is quite predictable. You kind of know what you're getting and that's fine but she just isn't my favourite because of that.

But then Bimini has my heart I soon will have no time for anybody else x

+5 Sonique - It Feels So Good

+4 Kylie Minogue - Spinning Around

    +3 Madonna - American Pie

+2 Melanie C - Never Be The Same Again

    +1 Eminem - Stan

  7. I honestly don't believe for a SECOND that Sister wasn't a bit inspired by A'whora, huge co-incidence if not as it wasn't just the same concept it was pretty much the same look but a worse version  Maybe it was an unconscious "I remember the idea but not where from, I'm doing it" kinda thing idk
  8. Envy Peru on Drag Race Holland won 3 in a row! Angele Anang from Drag Race Thailand also got 5 in a row kind of,but there's a runway and main challenge winner some weeks (if the challenge isn't runway/design based) so she won makeover, improv acting, talk show, design and then also won the runway on Snatch Game but not the actual challenge  But I'd still say she got 4 in a row with one shared win. There's Alaska, DeLa (4 in a row) and Manila in All Stars but ofc you can argue whether winning vs top 2 but losing the lipsync is a true "win" I guess.

Lmao... So Joe gets ridiculed for a dress from H & M but then Asttina wins with a jacket from Asos... What?

Legit  I mean both are fine, because drag shouldn't be measured by the money spent on it and in both cases, whilst Asstina's jacket was basic, there was an idea behind each look.

  9. A video has now come out of Kandy saying Elliott was transphobic and racist on the show but it's not been shown.

What put me off Elliott is her saying that Symone was "black girl magic but not aggressive" and I read she also said that Symone's du-rag train runway was "ratchet", lordddd these microaggressions.

  10. Love that hardly anyone’s even mentioned Veronica leaving!

So much happened in that episode I’d almost forgotten about it.

Hoping she doesn’t actually make a return next season

Same tbh oops, she's just pretty basic for me. Last week's Monster look was good but then most other stuff she did was flat out forgettable, basic at best, and I couldn't take to her personality at all. I can't see that she had much more to give personally.

  11. Not to do with this episode, but Snatch Game characters are these apparently if anyone wants to know, I just had to look bc SG is always my fave

    Tayce - Naomi Campbell

    Bimini - Katie Price

    Tia - Tracy Beaker

    Lawrence - Miriam Margoyles

Sister Sister - Charity Shop Sue

    A'whora - Vicky Pollard

Ellie - unknown, wasn't mentioned in the video oops forgettable icon

    Absolutely living for Bimini's

  12. Tia being in the lipsync was a JOKE, I thought she was better than Lawrence in the performance, and certainly the best out of her group! I'm kind of baffled as to how Ellie wasn't in the bottom, I liked her seagull look as I thought it was a really different way of looking at the runway and her make-up for it was amazing, but her energy in the performance was just non-existent. Tbf the whole of Bananadrama was kinda shit as a whole product though, the choreo was awful and as the judges said, it was like 4 of them had individually heard the song and were given the choreo and happened to be on stage at the time same. Tia and Sister on their parts did fine but when the challenge is the group, you were just drawn to how "go girl give us nothing" the choreo was and that reflected on the group as a whole. I'm not mad at Joe going though, she is very talented but I feel like she just isn't necessarily fit for the paradigm in which Drag Race places the queens.

I'd have given the win to Bimini if it was solo, but that group all did pretty well. Lawrence was definitely weaker, including on the runway, but that little injection of camp was fun and it's not like she ruined the whole performance. It was pretty close between Bimini, A'whora and Tayce for me and they couldn't go "you all win but Lawrence didn't". In a challenge like this, the fact that the group worked so well together, brought out each individual strength the queens have, put effort into a choreo and a rounded performance, matters a lot especially when you look at how disconnected the other group was, I think a group win makes sense so I'm not mad at it really.

The critiques were a bit weird, I know that Tia's outfit was awful but it feels like Ru is holding them to what she thinks drag SHOULD be, from a baseline of American queens, at times, rather than being appreciative of what British drag is.

  13. Golden Hour is one of the best albums of all time and LORD I could not be more excited at the thought of a Kacey album that centres round tragedy in the context of the word now!! This is going to be another huge serve I know it *.* She's such an honest writer who so easily captures universal feelings, or makes you feel like her feelings are your own, I think a mix of inspirations like that could be really special.
