Absolutely ecstatic, I’m not entirely surprised as it did just feel like nobody was arsed about Revolution, but I did think the juries would just seal its victory. It just goes to show the public are probably fed up of autopilot Swedish generic pop. Bara bada bastu feels very culturally Swedish (even though they are Finnish), due to the genre as Epadunk is a huge thing in Sweden, and it’s culturally Finnish in the subject matter, but most of all this is what Eurovision should be about - it’s fun. It’s full of joy and catchy, but it’s performed well and crafted well. And as much as I obviously loved Tattoo so that aside, Swedish entries haven’t been that striking or inspiring for me in absolutely years (I’ve liked most of them, but not loved them), it’s so refreshing to have them send this, I think this might be my winner now, either way Finland runs my top 2, I do have all eyes on Louane though I think she could overtake but a Finnish top 2 for me feels correct!! Maybe I’m just caught up in stanning the song but I feel like this will do just as well if not better as a Revolution autopilot might have done?! There’s a lot of televote grabbing songs but this is going to absolutely STOMP the televote with casual viewers.

That was probably the best episode of the season, the drama and Lydia having an unquestionable win was amazing to see!! She absolutely killed it, didn’t miss a beat and had easily the funniest jokes and reads. I’ve been waiting for her to have this breakthrough moment because I absolutely her style of drag and the viewpoints her twisted mind comes up with, this is the first time it’s all met in the middle perfectly and applied to a challenge perfectly. I feel for Lexi honestly, I think maybe she is not on the show at the right time for her mentally. She unquestionably has it inside her but something always stops her short of slaying, she is her own worst enemy. The way she kind of flops with grace and tries to bring it back, I may be biased bc I love her but I think it does take a certain level of skill to claw it back and not just let the whole thing derail, but she would so powerful if she just let herself go!! Thank god Arrietty is gone, honestly I wish she didn’t get the lever and just went on the RDR Live challenge because other than her Ball package and this episode’s drama she has given nothing. I get all the queens have different strengths and weaknesses, but why on earth do you come to Drag Race utterly unable to do anything bar wear clothes and make outfits Also if I never see Plane Jane again it will be too soon.

Early tea said that Onya wins a dancing challenge and I’ve seen tea that Lexi does, the synopsis says that episode 12 is the C.U.N.T. Monologues in pairs and the other person acts out the story in interpretative dance (idk💀) so I assume that it will be a double win of Onya and Lexi, so Onya gets her 4 wins (with next week’s acting presumably) and Lexi gets her 3 with that and the Rumix, then Sam gets her third with the makeover and it’s heavily rumoured Jewels just has the one. In fact people are speculating Suzie makes top 4 over her but I do think Suzie’s edit is pointing to a crash out personally

It’s definitely very 80s! I heard mixed things about Killah but I love it, it’s very Prince. Garden Of Eden and Perfect Celebrity are my highlights from the other new songs. I don’t think I expected the album to be like this but it feels right, honestly it kind of feels like an Ally album through the lens of Lady Gaga which is absolutely a good thing.

This had so much hype and I just get… nothing from it? Maybe it’s a grower but I’d go as far as saying this feels like it could be this year’s Before The Party Is Over.

Wow I’m surprised how good this is!! Very wtf, it’s like tinges of Bohemian Rhapsody, a musical finale, Sabrina Carpenter/Chappell Roan vibes and then a bit of The Last Dinner Party vibes I agree It’s like all three of the girls had a different vibe in mind so they just mashed it all together and somehow it worked out. Actually think this could very much go either way, as it’s a bit odd but they have great vocals so I think something that emphasises tight harmonies and their vocals could do very well, I do equally think that Europe at large could just not get it at all. Either way, with both this and Dizzy, I am glad we are going for things that just feel authentic, they’re what that artist would release and they’re something realistically British, not just a boring ballad or something that a panel of random producers thinks Eurovision wants, whether the songs do well or not.

This is very very good, feels like maaaybr a winning contender but I think it may be too similar to The Code to go all the way. Vocals are incredible and I think it will go off live. It does feel almost far too perfectly formulated to follow The Code as an attempt to win in a way that could just as easily backfire but juries at the very least will eat this up.

Episode 11 is an acting challenge inspired by Truman Capote and the Ducks, and episode 12 is the Charisma Uniquness Nerve and Talent Monologues. Apparently the latter is in pairs so I think it might be the case that Lexi and Onya get a double win there. But who knows as this week is a shake up… And we finally have a rundown for episode 10, the roast. I knew it was gonna be a big one lol: Lipsync is Ya Ya by Beyoncé!!! Win LYDIA!!!! HIGH Sam, Lana LOW Lexi BTM Jewels ELIM Arrietty I’m shook at Lydia winning a comedy challenge but come through!! I did think she would get a win at some point due to coming back to All Stars straight away and it was in early tea, but then I thought maybe it was her lipsyncs that had her in mind, plus Ru just loves calling her Butthole Onya safe and Lydia win for a comedy challenge is so crazy, there was early tea Lydia goes WIN-ELIM so I would assume Lana or Jewels send her home next week, Lydia has one of the craziest TRs ever. Sam is meant to have a bottom at some point so could also be her I suppose, it would make sense with Lydia having the momentum of a win finally but she comes up against a front runner.

Much better than the Sleepy Hallow remix, I agree she is absolutely killing it atm and going from strength to strength. I’d love to see her go to #1 with this, what an excellent sampling, it could so easily be odd but she makes it work.

Sounds like it could be more pop-rock which really isn’t au fait or the best genre to do well, however in a weak year we’ll see. I won’t judge fully until the full song is out!

It’s annoying the Beaver format means only one win per episode and only the finalists get them but I like that there’s no runaway frontrunner with 4 wins like usual. I guess the Beaver format helps that. Apparently there is no lipsync for the crown, oh they were SCARED of Alolan Jorgeous I guess all 4 just lipsync for the win as nobody is cut supposedly. I would assume Mariah wins the Ball, Gawdland could be any really she is quite well rounded but I’d assume performance, she won Rusical and makeover on her season, as did Fontana so I could see talent/makeover for Fontana as she has one of the best makeovers ever from her season, then Kate would be Snatch Game/acting. It’s going to be great seeing Gawdland and Fontana who are from two of the least watched and appreciated seasons get their wins and make the final, Kate was one of my top UK girls to come back and win, and obviously Mariah getting her flowers finally is iconic. Also Naomy is apparently 5th and Serena 7th camp, what it is with German early outs coming 5th over bigger names, kind of love that

I think that’s what they might do, like just go “s-s-serving” and leave it up to the crowd, BBC can’t do anything about that but will still be in a tizz if it’s even said in that way

Anora was great so I’m happy to see it sweep, I am gutted for Demi losing Best Actress though as it really felt like her time. Also sad for Ari and Cynthia but they were strong fields and given the rest of the season I didn’t expect either of them to win.

There’s nothing I flat out dislike here but I do find the bottom 2 bland and Revolution is just uninspired, if it does win and win Eurovision if will be my least favourite winner since Portugal 2017. It’s fine, but it’s not Eurovision staging and camera angles contest…
