    Thanks to THAT lipsync on Drag Race Canada, I've been in such a Celine era of late and so I thought it would be fun to have a rate! I've just gone mostly for top 40 UK singles but I've added some notable songs such as her Eurovision winner, recent promo singles and notable covers etc.

    Ilona has also said that because she identifies as trans, she finds it very difficult watching a dead "version" of herself at this difficult point in her life when the show was on :( Idk it just doesn't sit right with me some of the hate she's getting when I think it's just a few heated and emotional things that happened at a bad time mentally for her I think.

    Same, when she was being so OTT bawling over even the notion of having to lipsync and then seconds later stopped and slayed the lipsync anyway I was howling :rofl:

     

    I don't think she's nasty or a bad person or anything though, I think she isn't totally prepared to deal with what she had to deal with in the competition and she has stated her mental health didn't help things during the show when you get invested and moments get emotional and heated.

    Scarlett win would be good, I feel like it would throw her into the mix as a contender as she's been consistently good but not great just yet and she just needs that push to be up there, she is yet to falter so a win would put her in a strong position!

    Lemon's Snatch Game is possibly already like... top 5 all time for me? Just hilarious. Totally get why Jimbo won as she ate Lemon up on the runway and her Joan was amazing too, but lowkey Lemon should have 3 out of 5 wins so far :lol: I'd also have put Scarlett top over Rita, but both were great. Is it just me who feels like they are putting too much stock into runways? Of course you have to turn a look as well, but I'm getting fed up of Jeffery acting like it's the be all and end all and always tearing down Lemon over it.

     

    I think BOA should have gone way more OTT for Gypsy honestly, she seems to be getting heat for even choosing the character (she apologised on Twitter) but I think it would have been hysterical if she just went crazy but then that's just my dark humour. I don't think she was bad enough to be bottom 2 over Priyanka's dead on arrival Miss Cleo and Kiara's beyond woeful Mariah though, she at least TRIED to be Gypsy. I just think it would have been hilarious and so up my alley if she really hammed it up, I get why she was hesitant to go there but it's one of those cases where if you aren't prepared to go there, you shouldn't do the character.

     

    That lipsync was the best in a while, since Brooke/Yvie's Sorry Not Sorry I'd say in terms of both absolutely bringing it, really should've been a double shantay tbh! Perfect song choice and they both absolutely lived it! Not Priyanka being potentially another winner who bombs Snatch Game though, I feel it's her, Rita or Jimbo at this point.

     

     

    I am really loving this series now it's settled in, this episode and Not Sorry Aboot It were both among the best Drag Race episodes in years. I love everyone left in the cast in their own ways too, such a strong cast. Ilona and BOA are surely the next two out though, especially with an acting challenge next which I feel like the others can easily smash, I think time is up for one or the other and they are definitely the weak links compared to the others.

    Up early for work and couldn't help but watch Snatch Game before I leave, best one in AGES!! Jimbo and Lemon killed it, the latter was so so funny and grabbed my focus even in background bits when she kept fidgeting about :rofl: Scarlett and Rita were spot on too, Ilona was pretty funny and definitely gave it a good shot! BOA wasn't *that*bad in terms of character it just wasn't funny. Kiara gave possibly one of the worst ever?? Not a HINT of Mariah other than the Christmas outfit :lol:

    Who's Laughing Now is ok I guess, there's SOMETHING there and it's like she tried but just didn't get there, you can see where it could have gone but it got only halfway down that road :lol: The chorus at its core is great, but the "ha ha ha ha ha ha who's laughing now" is really offputting and the production sounds like an Ace Of Base demo from the 90s and not in a good way

    I know they can't help what they have to do to go back to filming, but the show feels so empty rn :/ Especially with not much going on and we've still got a while to wait for the Yasmeen climax.

    11 was actually so good, but Ryan is easily one of the most pointless and shit winners in ALL of Big Brother in any country :( Imagine having Priya, Skye, Travis and Aisha on the same season and still ending up with that as a winner.

    Definitely! The best counter I've found that I use often is Cinccino with Rock Blast and Skill Link, my own Cinderace has higher speed but only by 188 to 183 so if they run Adamant instead of Jolly or don't have 31IVs, I outspeed then Rock Blast is usually an OHKO so I'm good, even if it uses priority Sucker Punch that isn't an OHKO as frail as Cinccino is. I'm scum and use Kings Rock btu it's guaranteed OHKO with Choice Band, I just like the flinch chance if it's not quite enough on other Pokemon :lol: Choice Band Crawdaunt with Adaptability and Aqua Jet also works actually. It's so much more satisfying when it's a Pokemon they won't expect, you could easily bring out Choice Scarf Dracovish but I live for the salt.

    I'm finding it so hard to get into this properly. I like it but it's not really giving me anything I'm rushing to get back to with any kind of excitement.

    Exactly how I feel, it's fine but I'm not really seeking it out to listen to, the only times I've listened aside from my first couple of listens on NMF were because it's after Folklore in my Liked Songs on Spotify :lol: Such a downgrade from BUS, it's not terrible but it hasn't got that same charm and replay value, it's just a good ish pop song.
