I have to applaud this limo stunt, seen bits on social media so decided to watch it today in my hangover day and that was brilliant!

There is absolutely no way Naomy wins a challenge and a lipsync against Gawdland :lol: I’d be astounded if she lasted to episode 3 let alone won one, but go girl if she did. I am kind of gagging for one of the “Khias” to absolutely smash it and one of the bigger fan fave names to flop a bit as this cast on paper feels quite predictable. Minty does give me that she would bottom for comedy tbf but I think they pulled her a bit on those challenges in PH, she wasn’t like BAD bad at times, but I do see how it might be difficult for her in English. I've seen that there’s a Brit crew member who has followed everyone rumoured for the cast other than Naomy oop so either she’s just not on or maybe was first or second out and she was not in the episode that individual was on. Or just didn’t like her lmfao, I don’t think she can be not on as we already most likely only have 10 queens and I know that Meta and Yvonne told a fan she’s in England so basically gave it away plus she was one of the earliest rumours

Yeah I agree, as I said before I think she has a point of view too and I do kind of love that crafty camp drag sometimes, it just may not always translate to Drag Race in the best way. She’s just kind of there for me but I like her drag, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing necessarily, this is a cast of really strong personalities I agree so she’s hardly going to stand out amongst those kind of people. What’s annoying me is fans have been like “how are Acacia and Lydia still there over Crystal” because they didn’t flop Snatch Game and she did? 😭

Kori is good TV, give me that over the nothingness Crystal brought. The fan reaction from casuals is driving me insane, saying she was “the winner” and bringing up her track record, like it’s RuPaul’s Track Record Race. Imo a couple of her placements were a stretch, it’s not like Onya or Suzie suddenly got eliminated :lol:

Lexi’s TR is absolutely wild, WIN-SAFE-SAFE-SAFE-SAFE-HIGH-SAFE-(LOW?), considering she was meant to have her 3rd win here and be a front runner. I think Sam must win this and makeover as the makeover win has been solid tea for a while. I wonder if Jewels maybe wins design episode or of it could even be Onya since she still has 2 wins to go. I wouldn’t even be surprised if Sam got 4, Trinity had her in boot camp for this season so she didn’t embarrass the family :lol: But Jewels winning Rumix and design, Onya winning roast and acting, and Lexi winning girl groups would make sense imo. Onya is surely 10000% winning this season, Sam as a strong All Stars contender.

The only time it’s happened since 2011 that the winner refused to go to Eurovision was Stadio in 2016 and RAI chose so it’s not necessarily just the runner-up, but that year it did happen to be Francesca Michelin who came 2nd. Also 2011 it was the Newcomer winner that went. Another time it happened was 2012 when Emma won, but that year Sanremo wasn’t technically an NF, they just did Sanremo, and then a jury picked the entrant and it ended up being Nina Zilli who was 7th. 2014 also just didn’t have any bearing on Eurovision, they internally selected Emma. So hopefully if Olly declines, they can pick Giorgia or Elodie.

I think this was probably Norway’s best choice for getting the best finish, but I see it low top 20 at best. Not fussed on it personally, I do think Tone had the best song.

The track record gays acting like Crystal was going to win the season are driving me INSANE, there was absolutely nothing there, she just kind of scraped a high a couple of times where not many others did well. Maybe it’s easy to say when I knew spoilers but Crystal was so “shock” early out coded. It’s all well and good to technically do what the challenges want, but there was absolutely no spark or viewpoint or originality there, even the lipsync was so sterile and nobody can convince me she won that. Sam is kind of the same but more elevated, I think she has it in her for sure because she brings a spark to characters and has a viewpoint there for sure, but she does need to loosen up. I guess it’s a pageant thing of always being prepared,Trinity wouldn’t let her go to Drag Race without putting her through a boot camp and preparing her :lol: Pretty much agreed with the judging but honestly Arrietty was flat out the worst for me, that was just so so cringe. At least Crystal had a bit of a characterisation even if it was not funny at all, at least Lana was kind of hysterical in how she flopped. I’d have just done a bottom 3 or saved one of them and put Arrietty down there. I agree with the judges on Lexi too, people are calling favouritism but I think there is something to be said for knowing you’re flopping and letting yourself in on the joke, compared to just giving up and giving nothing. Jewels surprised me as she was the easy second best behind Onya, I hate fictional characters but jewels did the best she could with it, if you’re going to do it, make up something stupid like that! Like imagine Lana just made Rosa Parks some party girl on her way to the club or something :lol: Also I am living for Suzie’s delusional villain era bubbling up, I can’t believe she just did an Audrey voice and really thought she would win :rofl: I can see her slowly starting to take everything a bit too seriously, like her Snatch Game was far too studied and prepared and she feels like she’s drifting from the silly campy queen we saw with her episode 1 talent show for example.

It’s rumoured that Jewels wins the Rusical now, as Glinda, oh it was BAD for Lexi. It’s also heavily speculated that Lexi is low for the design challenge episode 9 as she has alluded to a moment where she got read by Law Roach for a look and obviously that didn’t happen when she was safe for the ball…

24k Gold screams “shock” 5th to me, decent song but I agree it’s just not fully there as a whole package. Every time Malou competes it feels like she’s almost there and you think next time she’ll smash it but yet again she comes back still just on the cusp.

Unsure, there is nothing to say GG doesn’t happen and Lana doesn’t win as part of a group, but I doubt it. We have another design challenge episode 9 and episode 10 is the roast. Presumably Sam wins the design and Onya wins the roast, there was early tea Lydia won the roast but I can’t see it. Sam winning makeover and another challenge has been pretty solid tea all along but So it’s thrown everything out a bit, episode 11 may still be girl groups but I don’t see them doing a 3 or 4 way win at top 7. There’s a lot of tea that is contradicting or doesn’t make sense now, such as the fact Lydia is supposed to send home Kori before she is eliminated and her elimination is meant to be episode 10 which is the roast, there were early rumours she may have won that. I suppose she could be bottom for design with Kori and then be eliminated at the roast, as her Ball package wasn’t the best. I think the elim order may be slightly off, we assume Onya with 4 wins, Lexi and Sam with 3 and Jewels with one or two (honestly I think maybe her top 2 got mixed up and she gets one other win later). There’s been so many bits of tea it’s hard to tell what is real especially with some of it being proven false. I’m guessing: Episode 8: Rusical - Lexi wins, Lydia or Lana sends home Acacia Episode 9: Design - Sam/Onya wins, Lydia or Lana sends home Kori Episode 10: Roast - Onya wins, Lana sends home Arrietty/Lydia, Arrietty sends home Lydia or Lydia sends home Arrietty? Sam was rumoured to win an acting challenge and Onya said in press/promo she loved the design challenges so not sure which of the two they’d both win, it would be cunty to diversify their wins a bit. Possibly there is a double win somewhere and Jewels gets 2, I suppose possibly it could be Lexi/Jewels/Lana for GG, then Jewels has 2 wins and Lexi has 3. Lydia is the one I’m thinking she might last an episode longer than we think just because there’s conflicting tea and I don’t see how Arrietty would send her home. Suzie could but surely she would never do worse in a Roast than Arrietty :lol: I guess if it’s the total wrong song for Lydia, Arrietty could be a lipsync survivor. I’m just working off assumptions but the tea is a bit messy and contradictory for episodes 8-11 or so, so who knows

It could very well be, with the Handmaids Tale album cover as well I’m wondering if it’s kind of an ironic album title and it’s poking fun at the kind of music women are expected to make, from the corny inspirational radio pop to this Kim Petras style ode to sex positions :lol: That’s something I feel she would do and is clever in itself but not what I expected or wanted.

Not what I expected, this is giving me like… a Drag Race song :lol: Which is fine, I don’t hate that in its own place, but how has she done a gospel tinged X Factor’s winner’s song Heart FM fodder and then listing sex positions over a RuPaul beat… for the same era?! The whole appeal of her last era was she was doing music you’d only get from her, she was doing whatever the f*** she wanted and pushing things sonically, both of these songs are not at all inspiring or intriguing. I suppose she is still doing whatever she wants but it’s not really what I want from her at all.

Couldn’t agree more, I’ve said this loads but I really would have laughed if someone told me say 3 years ago that Addison Rae would be the one of the most exciting new popstars of this generation. She just really gets it and has such an appreciation for interesting and compelling pop music, each song she’s done is a little different from the last and pushing things that little bit more.

I’m catching up and there really is no wonder Natalie Cassidy left. Complete and utter character assassination.

This was the best season of the revival, absolutely incredible run of episodes, particularly from Stella, Schuey, Amy and Libby/Jared.
