I think this is different to a "normal" runway though, she chose a look of Michelle's that nobody else would have, most others went for the first few Drag Race looks you'd think of for Michelle (not that Jaida, Jan and Jackie didn't slay that). And that's what I love about Gigi, she won't take the easy literal option (see last week with the ice cream girl look instead of just doing something in an ice blue ad white gown or whatever), she always thinks about things. I guess it's just personal preference, I don't mind a super basic look like that when you work it like Gigi does.

 

Another example is when Valentina did the blacked out censorship boxes as Sex Madonna, that was bare minimum but the idea was genius. Not to sound like Aiden Zhane but the concept can mean so much more than an intricate gown and accessories, but I think you can only really use that in themes like Michelle or Madonna where you're copying a certain look. It's different than coming out in a bikini for an "actual" theme!

Who are the other winners of the challenges left? I know elim order so might as well know everything else lmao.

 

 

As a huge Madonna fan, that was everything I wanted and more :wub: It was really hard to pick tops and bottoms of that challenge, as I think it was really only Brita who completely flunked it. Jackie was fine but just a bit off for that particular era of Madonna and I agree with Cody on Heidi! It was all over the place but considering she had a wide span that just covers "later Madonna" where there wasn't a set image or sound like the rest of them had, that was the point surely? :lol: I guess between Heidi and Jackie, it came down to the runway and Jackie had one of the best whereas Heidi had one of the worst.

 

You can't really deny Gigi winning at all, she completely steamrolls the others in terms of star power and there wasn't a single detail off about anything she did. I really wanted Crystal to nab a win tho and I loved that she went all the way and was funny with it, it was great to see her finally shine in a challenge! For me I think she deserved to win more than Jan lowkey. I mean Gigi obviously won but part of me just wanted Ru to think "Gigi just won Snatch Game let's give Crystal this one" :lol:

 

I'm kinda going off Jan, she nailed it but it was like... exactly what you expected from Jan in a Rusical if you get me? She nailed what she had to do, and she kind of does that every challenge. She's yet to be bad but I feel like every week, you hear the challenge and you can know what you'll get from Jan, which I'm bored of now.

lol gigi winning 3 (you could even say 4) out of 6 challenges. i have been telling myself they couldnt possibly have another skinny fashion queen win but i can't see any other outcome now :shrug:

Animal Crossing is quite slow, like I've put 15-20 hours in at this point and still everyone is like "just a bit to go and it gets better", like I've opened up more of my island now so I can do more but I just want a cute island already :lol:

Widow's runway was HIDEOUS, Gigi had the best but I also stanned Jan's.

 

Can't wait for the Madonna Rusical, such a perfect choice! Echoing the hope for Jan to get a win as the singer of the group, but I can imagine her being one of those who is all like "omg I'm a singer this is MY challenge" and taking it too seriously. But then that got Kameron a win in S10 for the Cher one!

GIGI f***ING GOODE

 

I'd put that right up there with the best of all time, so unique and definitely a risk but she absolutely smashed it! The physical comedy made it but she was so quick with perfect responses. Sometimes you need to take a risk and if there's any challenge where that pays off, it's Snatch Game. 12 seasons in and that's what I want to see, someone who does something different and keeps us surprised, it's so easy to do a diva with a "big personality" or act as yourself but to make a robot hysterical is something else entirely.

 

Jackie also did very very well, I think it was a pretty easy character to make pop but she had so much commitment and preparation which I loved, she's so earnest and just goes for it no matter what. I also actually kinda liked Crystal's Poppy? I get why she was in the bottom 3 as for a character many wouldn't know, there wasn't enough jokes or exaggeration, but I didn't think it was bad. Apparently she was originally going to do Gypsy Rose Blanchard :rofl:

 

On the other hand, I think Jaida's Cardi B was lowkey shite, given she portrayed someone so loud with such a big personality, and so many memes/jokes she did about 10% of what she could have! For me I think that's worse than Crystal having someone with less to go on and giving it a good shot. Ofc Brita and Aiden were the right bottom 2, neither of them went anywhere at all! It's very true what Jackie said, you know that no matter what season, Snatch Game is coming and surely any queen who goes on Drag Race should have a decent character prepared!

 

As for Sh*rry, I don't think it's right they edit out the runway (because mostly, that's on the great designers who do her costumes and frankly deserve to be showcased) but they show her being praised to high heavens? :lol: I guess it's way easier to edit out a runway than it is to edit out her placing high and getting good critiques.

When We Were Young is so timeless, it's got that rare quality of sounding like a lost 70s classic (Carole King sort of vibes) but also modern. Hometown Glory, Someone Like You and Set Fire To The Rain are my holy trinity tho *.*
