The design challenge being basically more about comedy is the one thing where I do think it felt like they really wanted to make sure Ginger got through, but tbh I think her and Daya had the best looks anyway and all the comedy part did was probably take time away from the queens being able to make a better garment as they had to allow time to come up with the story as well rather than just sewing and making. Especially as there was a country girl group challenge which was mostly comedy tinged and an improv challenge, they could have just done a straight design challenge quite easily. Or really it could have been a Ball since bracket 1 had a makeover and bracket 2 had unconventional design so we had all types of look challenge on the season.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen less chemistry than between Johnny and Felix. It’s really truly just giving that they had sod all else to do with him and just shoved him with the only available gay. But then this iteration of Johnny is so wooden I’m not sure he could have chemistry with anyone. Sophia Stardust headlining the Albert

Loved her since the last album so I really hope she goes stratospheric, she is such a talent!! TASPOM has grown on me a lot and I love Jamie Oliver Petrol Station after not being too keen on Running/Planning.

I think Elaine’s health turn was more of a story thing to get her to realise what’s important and skip the stress of fighting Linda etc. I do think her character is up though, they haven’t made it easy to like her when many people weren’t keen anyway! I think her taking her share and going off living a nice life would work for her. I can see Felix getting cold feet over Johnny and probably leaving with Bernie, they’ve really done nothing with Felix the entire time and basically morning with Bernie since the Six so I’m not arsed about either of them going tbh. Also starting to fear that Tish Dean has done a Linda Henry, Zak renting the house out when Vicki and Ross were gonna be thrown out 👀

I never disliked Elaine before but in these episodes she is a new level of insufferable. I could see Ben Wadey writing her out tbh, Linda could easily reposition pretty much anywhere with another business but I agree I just can’t see Elaine anywhere, especially without George or a real family unit of her own. Also Vicki is really coming into her own lately, f***ing DIVA

They really rushed to get something to write Bernie out, the way they’ve completely not used her lately they’re obviously not arsed and just decided to ruin her character. I don’t see what was wrong with her just leaving to be with her mum as there’s nothing for her here, really she could have left with Karen in the first place. Elaine is giving “ruin her character to write her out” this week too tbh

Daya top 2 here??! Cynthia and Denali easily did better than her at least. It was kind of a Liv Lux in the Season 13 improv win where her and Denali volleyed really well but only one of them got rewarded. This was kind of a Ginger top 1 though she was by far the funniest but she is one of the best improv queens ever on the show I think as evidenced by her Snatch Games. Daya did absolutely tear that lipsync, that was probably the best lipsync of the season, maybe they just didn’t want Ginger to have all 3 lipsync wins and they knew it was a song that Daya would eat? Idk. I would prefer her in the merge over Denali tbf as I prefer her drag. Cynthia definitely deserves the merge as I do think she has done well in all 3 and should have been in the top at least once. Cucu doing solidly at a comedy challenge was not on my bingo card for this season! As we’ve all said it was a disappointing bracket given the other 2 and I am glad to see the back of it and hopefully enjoy the merge more

Kat and Phil are so much better than Kat and Alfie!! I think with Kat and Alfie it’s just a given so they don’t really put anything into them or write them that well but I think Kat and Phil bring out the best of each other. It was a huge mistake splitting them up but I suppose we wouldn’t have had the amazing loneliness storyline etc if Kat and Phil stayed together.

Aja’s appears to be some random meme person too. I just cannot see Lydia as Pete Burns, but I suppose good on her for at least trying a big personality. Ginger choosing someone Ru would know, but famous enough the general audience will know her still, and someone with a distinct and strong personality with a lot to build off, is exactly why she is so great at Snatch Game. Choosing the right person and appealing to Ru is most of the battle. I think Jorgeous as Pitnull is just stupid enough to work too, both of those I think are smart choices.

I don’t think the challenges help, because even the challenges for this bracket compared to the others feel like leftover ideas? Like the design one was kind of half assed design and half assed comedy when they could have done a paired improv or a Ball, the judging didn’t really care that much about the design when compared to the one we had in Bracket 2.

Jasmine will eat but I could so see a Sam 3 win sweep

This is great, in the best way it feels like a lost Scandipop gem from like 2011, like a member of Play absolutely slayed and it went unnoticed. You can tell she really appreciates good pop and takes the time to craft a sound and an idea and it shines through on a song like this
