We basically only have Vue, there is a small Odeon in town and some independents that show certain films so I go to those if they are showing things I like, the Vue not far from me is decent. They closed Showcase in town which was by far the best but we’re getting a new Odeon this year apparently so we’ll see. Vue by me is fine anyway and with O2 it’s cheap as anything as well, it’s not the most bougie and I don’t think they’ve touched it in about 10-15 years lmfao but it does the job for the price. Popcorn is absolutely f***ing rancid in all forms like eating polystyrene 🤢

If that did just happen, killing Dilly off is one of the biggest mistakes they’ve made since this show came back and that is no mean feat :lol: I am wondering if the purported serial killer storyline is Jez rather than Martha or both of them even… I expect one or both of them did Jez and Patrick’s dad in, which is just giving Breda McQueen all over again.

Macy Gray actually did the same thing on the Australia season as well :rofl: She was fine in America where she somehow made the final despite being the most obvious voice ever

That was definitely set up, people are moaning about it but like… it’s Drag Race? There is always going to be these twists, this is reality TV. I like having nobody go home in the premieres, it gives everyone a few episodes to shine, and I’d rather they did a campy twist like this than the Paramount+ seasons’ favourite trick of just pretending a lipsync is a double shantay when one queen clearly won :lol: A 16 episode season with no twists and turns actually end up being dull, it’s just if they overdo it like season 14 it gets a bit much for me. Lexi Love is everything as I anticipated, she has her foot on these girls necks!!

Agreed, she definitely set out to do something and fully achieved it but it was absolutely not something I enjoyed listening to or want to listen to again. But honestly good for her for just still doing whatever the hell she wants and not chasing more and more popularity which would have been so easy for her. She did say on Tumblr the fan theories she made this deliberately to alienate people as she was getting too popular aren’t true she just wanted to make some drone music so that’s what she did :lol:

I’ve said a few times but I just do NOT see it for Virgo, the only challenges she’s done well in other than episode 1’s music video were a single lipsync and “sit there and have a conversation” :lol: and sure Makayla hasn’t set the competition ablaze but Virgo has shown no personality, I do think she’s an excellent performer, has a passion for performance and knows who she is as a queen though. Idk for me I think I’m just resigned to going into a Canada season knowing it’s not going to be top tier drag but it is frustrating for us to be at the second season in a row where nobody feels like a winner! Makayla has the star power but hasn’t done well in the competition, and I do agree she needs a little longer in the oven and I think she’d be a great vTW or Global All Stars rep. But weighing it all up, whatever, she’s c**t, she’s been good TV, so I want her to win over the others. With Minhi, there just isn’t the spark of Makayla or the performance sense of Virgo, but she is lovely and she’s the one who’s actually done somewhat well at the challenges. Helena kind of has the same vibe as Scarlet Bobo for me, did well at nearly everything but didn’t excel particularly at anything. I’ve got a feeling Abe is gonna kill his mum or something, this really really needs to be the end of it now. Everyone involved has played a blinder and it has been great but there absolutely was no need to drag it on this long! There’s no more twists or turns they can do, nowhere Abe can hide, it has to be it.

Priya could so easily be there with the likes of Stacey as a new legend for the show, I hope she gets the storylines she deserves throughout the show. So classic Eastenders but also brings such a freshness in a way no other character has in a long time.

What keeps breaking me is all the queens sharing specific memories of her, nearly every single queen has shared how specifically kind and enlightening she was, how she guided them and had time for everyone. She was at the top of her game but never ever let it go to her head and had kindness in spades just as much as she had talent.

For the anniversary we can vote on whether Denise picks Ravi or Jack! I want Ravi with Priya moreso but I just don’t want Denise and Jack anymore, I think she deserves a bit of fun and passion even if it’s not a long term thing that will work. Idk I just feel like she can do so much better than just settling for boring Jack just because she’s stepmum to his kids. Honestly though I think she is the kind of character that is more than strong enough to stand on her own which is why I really don’t see why she needs to just slot back in with Jack.

I really wanted it for Cynthia but Demi was sensational to say the least and it’s so poetic for her to finally get an award after nothing for her entire career especially given the story of this. Also given the fact horror never gets viewed seriously enough at the biggest awards ceremonies, hopefully going forward it does and this opens the floodgates.

Ari just lost the Golden Globe to Zoe Saldana, typically this predicts the Oscar as well but even being nominated for the Oscar would be insane tbf. Part of me isn’t even sure she’ll get the Oscar nom but we will see, the critical and awards success has been incredible for Ari as it is.

For all the incredible queens the show has seen, Viv is the ONE where her hosting just made so much sense :(

Acacia was kind of done dirty, that was a perfectly safe talent performance. Nothing special but it definitely wasn’t worse than Joella or frankly Arietty and I’d maybe argue Lydia too, she had a better idea but flubbed the execution a bit. Correct top 2 for me, I’m kind of obsessed with Suzie already. Her and Lexi are my early faves, I can’t wait to see Lexi next week!!

I wish I liked Minhi’s drag more because she is such a sweetheart! I agreed with her win this week but I’m surprised Makayla kind of ate after the last design challenge. Definitely a better episode this time, Makayla wanted some of Melinda Verga’s nachos and I lived for it.
