I mean she's not wrong but I think it was more that they are so different in their style of drag and what they do to perform - yvie has her weird style and body contortions whereas silky has her uh... ~~awful~~ personality and ~~basic~~ pageant girl looks whilst pushing the fact shes a plus sized queen down our throats. (im all for a plus sized girl but why cant nina wave that flag this season??) Silky can't do what Yvie does but Yvie probs could do the bold pageant style drag if she wanted to. She has a unique talent and style and doesn't need to rely on her personality or body type to give her an edge in the competition, her skills come through on the runway and in the challenges and this week's look showed she has versatility but is still able to maintain her individuality.

Exactly and that's the great thing about this show, I just wish Silky would see that. Drag would be so boring if it was all the "classic" paegant type or all just fashion in the classic or popular sense, and honestly pageant drag is easily the most boring to me but it never gets less tiring when queens like Silky think their basic drag is the be all and end all :drama:

Anyone watched any of this?? It's honestly so so good, of two winners they've had one trans and one plus size, progressive goals and the standard of looks is INSANE, like one of them literally set herself alight as a reveal while on the US version Vanjie is wearing a bodysuit each week x

Week 6: All That Glitters

Akeria Chanel Davenport - TOOT - This is LUSH, I absolutely love it :wub: Paegant drag is usually far from my fave but this is such a stellar example, from the hair to the perfect proportions, to the paint, this is like the best look Ru would wear all season.

Brooke Lynn Hytes - TOOT - Old Hollywood glam, a bit different for her but still beautiful and fashion. She had a bit of camp to her presentation too which I appreciated, brought the look alive and it was something a little different to stand out from the rest here.

Nina West - TOOT - not executed perfectly but I really liked the idea, totally different to the rest this week and it was perfect for her campy side! Had it been made with a bit more care and attention to detail, this could have been a great look but I'm not booting what was a cute idea.

Plastique Tiara - TOOT - Golden snitch realness *.* FINALLY not that bloody corset, the dress itself is simple but lends itself to the rest and lets the wings and headpiece shine and be the stars, I'm not a fan of the tights or shoes but that's not enough to take down this look which might be my fave of hers to date.

Ra'Jah O'Hara - BOOT - This is just super boring, I don't get the face "mask" veil thing at all?? It just feels like this was a basic go-to outfit she already had, felt it wasn't enough and just hurriedly added that to try and elevate it but it just... doesn't.

Scarlet Envy - TOOT - A soft toot, I adore this hair on her but there's virtually nothing to say about the outfit other than it's safe and nice.

Shuga Cain - TOOT - A fun showgirl-esque look, I think there's a little more going on than there needs to be, it could have just been solid gold rather than the texture looking like one of those cushions, but I do really like it.

Silky Nutmeg Ganache - BOOT - Potentially the worst look so far this season, at least since week 1 with Soju and Kahanna. It's just hideous, unshapely and the cross just makes it even more ugly. When you look at a kind of similar look from Akeria, it just really looks awful.

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo - BOOT - I hate to be so bored because I love her personality, but this is just so basic and has no progression from many of her other looks, she's just done gold instead of red and stuck those Ariana bunny ears on.... She always looks beautiful but she can't rely on that every time.

Yvie Oddly - TOOT - It was such a fortunate accident that she was injured on this runway because the cane really completes this look, it adds a character that you wouldn't necessarily get without it. It's just so cool and punk, quite fashion, you get a picture of badass Yvie in a few decades still working it with the cane barely able to walk but slaying anyway. The hair *.*

Week 7: From Farm To Runway

Akeria Chanel Davenport - BOOT - Nothing about this gives me farm but it's pretty ugly regardless. I think it's mostly the hair, it'd be good on an executive realness kind of look but I have no idea what she was going for with this at all. A huge miss which is such a shame after last week.

Brooke Lynn Hytes - TOOT - This is STUNNING, very fashion forward and everything down to the hair, shoes and accessories are just flawless. I'm obsessed with the way the hair matches the accessories too, she just wears this so beautifully and this is such a hit, the more I look the more I wish she had won with this.

Nina West - TOOT - I think it looks better in the FPR photo than on the runway which helped, but you can tell she took on board the comments from last week and that shows in her proportions, I love the hair as well. There's still some attention to detail that needs to be worked on, but there's always a great idea behind Nina's looks which I love.

Plastique Tiara - TOOT - I'm not as taken as others and the judges were, but this is certainly a beautiful look. It's that good mix of her signature style but being different enough to feel like a progression and breakthrough, there's nothing I'd change here and it's a step up from her just looking beautiful because it's presented well and you can tell she's feeling it.

Ra'Jah O'Hara - BOOT - It kind of feels like two different looks, I like the top half enough but the bottom half feels tacked on and kind of basic, she could have easily done a bit more with the trousers and made it pop a bit even just into soft toot territory, there's just not a lot to be excited over here at all.

Shuga Cain - TOOT - I absolutely loooove the windswept hair, she looks like a flower fairy or something and there's something about it all I just really adore, it might be my fave look of hers alongside the Trump one!

Silky Nutmeg Ganache - TOOT - Not quite as bad as some of her others so I'll give her a toot for once. I like the hat/headpiece thing and the heel addition, she could have done more with the cape though.

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo - BOOT - I love the neck up but the rest.... no. The more I look at this, the more I'm so frustrated and disappointed, it's just a few ropes with a bit of fabric. It might be different to her bodysuit go-to but it's just as basic and uninspiring, it's such a shame because that hair is amazing and could have made an incredible look pop if she put effort into the rest.

Yvie Oddly - TOOT - Autumnal colours are so her, I adore the fact that she's going for something a bit more glam without losing any of that signature Yvie feel, that's something poles apart that she manages to seamlessly bring together.
