Why on god’s green earth did they have a double win for a roast and yet when Vanity was in the best group for an actual GROUP challenge they put her in the bottom. Kween was definitely the best but there’s no way Kitty deserved that win, there were just the same old jokes and I don’t think delivering that confidently really makes that on a level with Kween who had unique jokes and delivered it well. I thought Alyssa’s content was unfunny as well, whereas Tessa I think had the content there but she didn’t believe in it at all. Vanity’s was lowkey one of the most uncomfortably cringe roasts of all time in such a way that I simply have to stan. I think a roast is probably the most unfair challenge to make ESL queens do, because the delivery and cadence must be so hard when it’s not your mother tongue. Nehellenia turned that around and killed it anyway! I feel like even more than Snatch Game even it’s just such an unfair challenge to have on a global season. Unfortunately this did have to be Pythia’s week to go, she had the worst roast alongside Vanity, and Vanity gave for the second week in a row the best lipsync of season and honestly one of my favourite individual lipsync performances ever on the show. She’s the first to get 3 wins on my judging and I was thinking maybe I can give her a low placement where her runway saves her, but Tessa’s was just stunning as well, even moreso, I saved her in mine as Soa is still there and whilst she was great at Snatch Game on her season, I think she’d struggle with a second language roast. I was expecting Cheek 3 Cheek tbh, it definitely has more Gaga to it with flecks of theatre and rock. I can’t see me returning to it a huge amount but it is a lovely surprise project.

Worst double eviction of all time. The chaos and great season has lasted for a lot longer than a season normally does, but this is an awful top 5. Chelsie is the only one who’s really played Big Brother. However, final 5 and up is almost always boring so to have basically the entire season minus 2 weeks be this great has been amazing after so many years of being let down again and again by this show. Chelsie defintiely wins now which is fine, I really don’t like her but you have to give her gameplay utmost credit. She reminds me of Maggie the way she’s running that house like a cult, similarly Maggie is not the most dynamic, entertaining or likeable person but I’ve always felt she is underrated as a player/winner because she’s not the most flashy dynamic person. Like…is it dramatic to say Chelsie is playing the best singular game of BB since Tyler in BB20? It would be hysterical if Makensy dug deep, found one singular brain cell and got her out, or Rubina or Kimo finally did something and randomly won HOH and got her out. If any of them do do that, even if that’s fhe only thing on their resume, they’d somewhat deserve to win :lol:

I am BEYOND obsessed with Kyran!! Such an exciting and fresh presence on this, you get that unmistakable UK drag flair but she has such a vision and I know that every single week I’m going to be absolutely perched for whatever she brings to the table. She is such a breath of fresh air for the show. Lill would have been the other top for me but La Voix was good too.

Nish really needs to go at this point, there has been some isolated great moments with the whole family and the storyline, but they’ve gone round in circles so much that we’re getting the same peaks and troughs, Nish has been dying for what feels like forever, he’s tried to kill pretty much every member of the family, changed his will about 8 times, changed his mind on every member of the family like the wind, I just don’t care one bit at this point. And maybe I’m crazy but Suki is nearly as bad, using her family as pieces in her chess game. Her and Eve are finally together and it feels like nothing is about them, it’s always about Nish’s umpteenth death threat or whatever. I think everyone in the family has better things they could be doing and more interesting storylines they could have, rather than this going round in circles yet again.

That’s why if they were SO intent on crowning Alyssa they sbluldnt have been afraid to put her in the bottom when she deserves it. A winner with 3+ bottoms (and not in the bottom 4 if you don’t win All Stars way) would be kind of camp.

Basically all of the tea just made me know nothing was deserved and I was kind of dreading this season before it even started :lol: At those points, Vanity has been in the bottom or low for half of the season and Tessa is on her first bottom but on a low streak, so whatever those two did they would be gone. But it should always be down to the lipsync, someone could be bottom 10 weeks in a row but if they do better in the lipsync every time, they should stay. Kween I could see how she beats Tessa in a lipsync, I think I they’re evenly matched, but Kitty beating Vanity to any song is just wild. Obviously we need to see what happens but I just can’t see it. I hope Vanity gets invited back for at least a VtW, she has to be one of the most pulled queens I’ve ever seen on a Drag Race series. As I’ve said in the main threads, I think they just assumed because nobody watched Sverige, they could pay her dust and nobody would care. I feel so bad for Vanity being a scapegoat for the bottom for most of the season, at the expense of mainly Alyssa but also Kitty and Kween.

TWO seasons never placing below safe and the second is in her second language!! A few spillers said she actually deserved the win for branding as well. Week on week I do feel like she has more and more chance of winning, but knowing Alyssa wins the last challenge I know they will frame it as some massive victory lap and a burst of momentum for her and what Nehellenia did all season will be forgotten.

Makensy is RIGHT on the cusp but she is allergic to doing anything that remotely amounts to a good gameplay move. I could see her comping her way to the end by winning when she needs to, but between her and Chelsie I honestly think more and more each day the jury is going to hate them both and we end up with Cam or Kimo winning :lol: Hopefully one of the two do something to deserve it by the time it comes

I agree, Kween calling Nehellenia a creep is just.. :/ With Kitty she’s just not for me anyway, but at times you can tell it is her humour like the cow comment, plus Nehellenia has said they are friends now so I assume she has apologised etc, I think Kitty has more instances of it but smaller things whereas Kween just says the odd thing but they are downright nasty not just a dry sense of humour or whatever. It’s congruent with a lot of whispers about her not being a nice person anyway, and it’s a shame bc out of the Ru girls she hasn’t had a challenge where she has done badly other than Snatch Game this week whereas Alyssa really could/should have had about 4 bottoms at this point and Kitty easily could have gone home first at the Ball. As soon as I saw the cast leaked, I was expecting Kween to kind of have a “professional” cold type of edit, but just downright nasty is much much worse.

Pythia changing character minutes before Snatch Game and being by FAR the best. She was robbed, Kitty’s was funny but I think it’s a better idea on paper than it was in execution, it was quite one note. However she was fine this episode really compared to how she has been, and she did deserve top, I don’t think the win was a stretch but Pythia was better imo. Pythia should be on 3 wins by now (acting, Ball and this). I usually hate historical figures/fictional characters but that was smart to listen to Ru and craft that character so well on the fly. I don’t think Vanity deserved bottom yet again either, there was at least some attempt at a character and mannerisms. Alyssa yet again was just herself, she is terrible at Drag Race. She was lucky that others were awful in the Snatch Game so that was enough, I also thought Kween was pretty awful and of course Tessa, but then she had possibly the best runway along with Pythia and Vanity. Unfortunately Gala was easily the worst and I think she would have lost that lipsync to either Tessa, Kween or Alyssa anyway. She was bad enough in Snatch Game when she was speaking Spanish for it so I knew she would struggle here sadly. Really if ever there was a season to skip Snatch Game as a challenge, it’s this, it’s another obstacle to the ESL queens who are overlooked time and again. WIN Pythia HIGH Kitty, Nehellenia LOW Kween BTM2 Tessa, Gala Vanity did give comfortably the best lipsync of the season so far though!!

Yeah I really can’t fathom how he didn’t get burned or anything, they said he jumped out of the car but then idk how he even got that injured to be a coma for a year but be physically pretty much untouched :lol: Maybe his body is burned or the explosion made him hit his head idk, I just don’t think there was a point to doing it and it reduces James to his death being a plot device for Ste to have maximum trauma for the time jump. If they had to write James out, the brain tumour thing just should have been his exit. Leah is leaving for uni anyway, so whatever. It just feels like they threw 89 things at Ste just so they could come out of the gate swinging with a big character. They could have had James live until just before the time jump and have him dealing with that, plus what’s going on with Leah and Lucas anyway is enough. It’s just convoluted and not even interesting to throw all of this at Ste, not just a coma but his son in jail, plus his daughter springing a baby on him and pissing off plus his husband dying in the same accident that had him in a year long coma. Ste is one of those characters where honestly him just being quiet and happy and… boring would actually be more interesting :lol:

I’m in retail management so no home working for me, but we went to a 4 day week condensed hours last week and it is amazing! I’m completely happy to do slightly longer days and get an extra day off, I love having a random weekday off and getting to get errands done etc when town is quieter on a weekday, and still getting more time to relax or do what I want to do.

I’m glad tbh, there is no way on this earth Blu can even half manage to carry a new Drag Race franchise.

Why have I got a horrible fdlong all this chaos will result in a bitter jury where Cam wins for being inoffensive, no matter how incredible the season has been I feel like I’m so used to being burned by BB to the point I’m waiting for it to happen 😭

The way they baby Bobby is absolutely infuriating, perhaps if they actually treated like an adult he could act like one.

Absolutely screaming at Leah pissing off to uni and leaving her dad who’s fresh out of a year long coma with a baby :lol: I’ve got a horrible feeling the baby is Dillon’s, they made a point of the baby’s dark hair and he seemed really overprotective over her when she went into labour. I don’t really care about him and Lucas as a couple but there’s just no need to do that really and if Leah is leaving to go to uni anyway, they didn’t even need it as a plot device for her to go or anything, so it serves no purpose than to add more trouble and misery to a family who have lost James, Lucas is in jail and Ste is fresh out of a coma. I am cautiously optimistic about this new format though, we have to remember Brookside was 20 years ago and it was either you’re on prime time TV or not. Hollyoaks is more youth focused, which fits a streaming first model and the shorter episodes even are easier to digest for this digital focus it’s going for. The show is definitely finding its feet with this new shorter runtime but I think once the remaining exits due to the cuts are done and the last little mysteries and loose ends from the time jump are tied up, it will work better. They’ve kept some strong family units and there’s lots of interesting things for them in store and currently happening to keep the show going.

That season of AU is absolutely worthy of being up there! Reignited the obsession I had with BB from the late 00s when I was growing up.

Half the episode being Ste waking up was kind of annoying, with shorter episodes and only 3 a week I do worry it’s going to be hard to pace the show. Hopefully this is just tying up the crash cliffhangers and pacing will get better when we’re fully “in” the future without it being tied to what happened a year ago we can focus a bit more on the new relationships and new developments rather than Ste who I’ve never been arsed about. Although extra Leela is always appreciated, they seem to be going all in in making her one of the big matriarchs which I am absolutely here for. As an aside, Nanna McQueen in the titles!!!!

Omg the turkey slap!! I can only imagine seeing that actually unfold on live national tv.

Apparently the Lala might not count as a win, may be like Season 15 rather than Canada 4, still looks like Maxie is winning if she gets 3 wins without the Lala , Angel with 2 and Khianna with 1 whilst Tita gets none.
