    I'm finding it very one dimensional, Kim was obviously known as a villain and iconic soap bitch but it's bordering on panto villain... It was great for the first episode or so but I'm just wondering what was even the point, unless she actually came back and took Home Farm and had a proper huge storyline.

    It's also basically a vote to save Akeem if you evict Kenaley as it's a head to head, and as he's more popular surely those who like him can just do that so she's definitely gone :/

     

    Kenaley is 75% on Tellymix to go and has been top on loads of Twitter polls too, if she hasn't even got the stans behind her the casuals will see black woman with opinion and immediately go for it, as Jafet's percentages show :lol:

    I can see it being kenaley but hopefully it's Akeem, I like both but kenaley has more potentially. A black opinionated female vs a nice enough hot guy though, we've been burned about 80 times before :lol: I wouldn't be so shocked at Akeem going but it's a head to head so him being more popular people can just vote for Ken to save him. Head to heads are so boring a lot of the time ffs

    I'm dying for Ava Max to be the Margaret/Kamferdrops type international artist who enters as Sweet But Psycho has gone #1 although I don't know if it's a bit late in the day for this year for her to be in. But either way, imagine her with a Kempe or the Debs write? *.*

     

    From last year's bunch, Renaida returning would be fab and maybe Olivia Eliasson with a bigger and better song to break through. Molly Sanden giving it an 18th try and doing a Sanna Nielsen would also be great tbh.

    Brooke is AMAZING, she always speaks so much sense in exactly the right way. She never goes off at anyone or shouts or swears and loses it, she has the tact and emotional intelligence to do it in a way that works, because blowing up never really helps anyone. She realises that people like Lewis for example need to be spoken to properly (and even then it might not work but it's best to try and get something out of it instead of pouring petrol on the fire). I don't see how people are calling her a snake or whatever when she has spoken to Lewis about it, just because she doesn't entirely turn her back on someone who's annoying her or she nominated doesn't mean she's two faced :lol:

     

    Hopefully Akeem goes, decent guy but he's not bringing much. Kenaley has a lot more give and is pretty much the only one who hasn't really had a chance to give it.

    Katya's success with her previous 2 partners is because she gives them great choreography which is brought out even more by the fact she seems to connect and have fun with them. If there's such an awkward air as there obviously will be with her and Seann, it's going to bring down their whole routines when Seann hardly has the ability to get over that in the first place :lol:

    They've explained why it's been vetoed and with a perfectly reasonable one. It's frustrating when your song gets vetoed, I get that, but you just move on and get another song to confirm with. If you can't find anything that's unfortunate, but by the sounds of it you've not been enjoying BJSC for a while now, constantly calling "beaverdoniaism" or whatever and going off on rants. So it's just coming off as whiny and "oh here we go again".

     

    Honestly, a break is amazing and does wonders if you're really not enjoying it anymore.

    Exactly! I've had months where I can't be bothered at all and I don't see the point at all in carrying on but moaning about how bad BJSC is... It's like anything on this site or life, it's a bit of fun to partake in but if you don't want to, don't. It just brings it down for everyone else when there's pages and pages of the same thing "Beaverdoniaism" where there was a perfectly valid veto explanation. The mods do that for a reason, so it's transparent, they don't just go nah don't like the look of that title bye xo

    I think it was an odd one in terms of judging for Star Baker, I feel like the standard was iffy and everyone messed up on one challenge or another so it wasn't like a usual week where the Showstopper helps decide between the potential Star Bakers.

     

    I agree about the portrayal of vegan week though, they didn't do that when they had say "free from" week (and granted that was more for people who have certain allergies) but they did pretty much just disparage veganism, when as Bryony said it was good to do just to show that you can do vegan baking and it be as tasty as normal if you do it correctly. There normally do have a week or two where it's stuff they won't be used to like this, free from week in Nadiya's series or last year when they had "forgotten bakes", they have to challenge the bakers.

    It wasn't about being entertaining though, it was a social game, at least for the actual prize. Plus when he was as nasty and bitchy and two faced as he was, there's no wonder the public didn't vote for him either! I wouldn't have been mad if he won on balanced as he played the game, but as time went on it was obvious he wouldn't.

    They won't, the BBC will be raging :lol: A lot of the appeal and success of Strictly is that they don't have all this fuss and drama, it's just a good fun family dancing show. The BBC won't want and doesn't need storms and negative press for viewers, it's not Big Brother.

    I can see his Paso being an anomaly scorewise anyway so I don't imagine his time would have been much longer on the show, but I doubt he will get support now. Probably for the best to save the tiniest bit of face and not make more of a mess of poor Rebecca and Neil that they don't do anything like a salsa, tango or rumba :lol:

     

    Katie probably has another couple of weeks left in her, she's one of the loveliest people possible and people love a good journey narrative, so if she keeps getting better then she could do quite well. I suppose it all depends which of the upped scores from Movie Week are anamolies, I can imagine Seann for sure and maybe Graeme just because of good choreography and fun routines, Stacey perhaps too might collapse back below 30 but obv she's gonna be fine for weeks yet, she screams finalist unless something goes majorly wrong or there's a dance-off of like her and Faye/Ashley too early. This series seems so close though so who knows?

    Ken is spilling the tea about Zoe, I can't stand Sian either but she really needs to get over her random issue with Sian and now Kenaley, it seems to be consuming her whole airtime and she is quite happy to just sit in her corner with Cian or Cameron and whinge all day and not do anything else :drama: It did come across with the way she dealt with the gamechanger stuff that she was just petty and wanted Kenaley out.

     

    Give me someone like Kenaley who lets you know where you stand any day.

    Zoe is doing the opposite, all she does is moan and bitch :/ Why is she acting like she has a god given right to be in the gamechanger, her Sian jealousy seems to have seeped into Kenaley too and she really wants her out :lol:
