I think Soa’s English is fine, from what I heard she wasn’t that confident in English but it’s better than she admits so she was fine to be on and took the plunge. I think they should just do like design, performance etc challenges, nobody would miss some horrible scripted challenge and honestly nobody would miss Snatch Game with the standard of it in nearly every season lately. I think it’s going to make the season feel worse as it goes on that a lot of the ESEL queens who personally I want to see more of go early and we end up left with the obvious Rugirls. If you look at say acting or Snaych Game, of course you will just get Kitty/Pythia/Alyssa/Kween doing well in those and the others struggling. They could maybe still do a Snatch Game type thing but do as say a talent show type thing, you can do a normal impression of them as a monologue or something, or do a performance as a popstar for example. That way you don’t have a language barrier, even if someone speaks English fluently or close to it, I imagine it must be so hard to improvise in a second language. I suppose it would be harder than Thailand had it, as they just met in the middle with some English whereas here you have Spanish, French, Italian etc.

One of the reliable spillers has told us a bit about some of the queens’ edits: Alyssa is given a positive “mother of the group” edit, comes across as a likely winner Kitty has a villain edit, Baga on UKvTW vibes Tessa is kind of a deluded Serena Cha Cha villain type, she flops basically the whole season Kween has a bit of a cold/professional edit and is a bit cocky, but does the best Nehellenia is Ru’s fave Soa comes across unprepared in comedy etc Vanity Vain has a Miss Congeniality type edit and is the lipsync assassin Eve kind of flops after winning the talent show and is read a lot for her runways, particularly one really bad Disney inspired runway Other assorted tea: Tessa does badly at virtually every challenge but wins a design challenge which is seen as an unfair win by the others. Kitty wins Snatch Game as Princess Diana Vanity is said to have possibly the worst roast of all time, Utica level Eva does rice cooking for the talent show and is top 2 but Vanity wins the lipsync

Lydia Kollins from S17 is apparently on the cast as well, group 2 is currently filming and apparently is her, Jorgeous, Mistress, Kerri, Tina and Nicole Paige Brooks. Also Chappell Roan is apparently a guest judge

Same last night and I went FERAL what an absolute banger

Vanjie was kind of robbed blind, everybody did really well but her and Jorgeous were the top 2 for me. Plastique could have been top 2 if she emoted just a bit more as well. Shannel did really well but it did feel like she was just given a win because she hasn’t got one yet, the role was one of those that just didn’t feel like it was written to win but she did everything she could with it to shine so I, not against her winning this but I thought Vanjie should have easily been in the top.

Just caught up on Snatch Game and they don’t give a shit about Misty do they :lol: I do understand how Ruby won, her Isabelle Adjani was amazing but I think if we take both Smatch Games into account Misty did the best. Really it could have been a double win since they made them do two characters, Misty based on Lolo and Ruby for Isabelle. I’m glad Ruby broke out though, despite her not doing well up to now I feel like she has such winner energy, one of those you’re rooting for even if she doesn’t do well because she’s got such a spark that draws you to her. Lula is my winner though, I’ve loved seeing her grow from a muted start, being a bit reserved, and now she’s nailed both a Rusical and Snatch Game, I thought she’d be more of a looks queen but she’s proving she can do it all.

I had tickets but on resale (Twickets) so I got f***ed over by them refunding THE ORIGINAL buyer and they got the presale to get tickets and I didn’t :) I think the rescheduled dates should have just had tickets transferred ffs,I have a Twickets alert so hopefully can get a ticket D: Not to gatekeep but I’ve loved Chappell for ages and it’s really annoying that her getting so popular has me missing out as much as deserves everything she gets and more.

Definitely a testament to her as an artist, she’s got such an eclectic range just from this one era and everyone is loving the whole package but also picking totally different favourites.

I’m begging

I feel like I just cannot vote Labour in the political climate we’re in for trans people right now. I’ve always voted Labour since I could vote in 2015, but the diet Tories we have under Kier Starmer I just find it really hard to get behind. It feels like every day they stab trans people in the back and in turn the LGBTQ+ community itself. No matter what other policies I can get behind, I just feel like I cannot stand there and vote for Labour in the shape it is now, so I’m very much leaning towards Green, even if it is a “wasted” vote. It’s going to be a very odd day on the 5th, feeling on one hand elated to get the Tories out, but if you told me I wouldn’t even be happy it was Labour in power when the last election happened, I’d laugh at you. I didn’t rota myself in for the Friday so I can stay up too, love being a manager :lol:

So apparently she’s far right and did blackface let me retract that :lol: Ruby was absolutely robbed this week, Leona’s Rusical I thought was a bit spotty (second half she was missing words etc) but she had way too big of a part where I feel like whoever did that probably would have struggled and probably would have won as it anchored the whole thing. It kind of felt like she’s a big name and they wanted to give her a win to cement her as a contender so just gave her this where it was a toss up and a lot of people did well but she was about 5th best for me :lol: She did definitely win that lipsync but it should have been Filip and Ruby or Misty, maybe even Lula. This is kind of falling foul of the season 3 curse that UK, Italia and España did tbh, the judging has been a bit iffy (last week did have the right winner) and idk the cast just isn’t hugely giving, there’s the obvious few highlights then what feels like a lot of filler and it’s watchable for sure but season 2 was so top tier (like possibly the best international season imo) that I guess anything would feel like a step down. I do really like the Nicky phone twist though that’s kind of genius, hopefully it gets used even more in future episodes and shakes things up a bit.

AS10 will be so camp and unserious if Ginger is first out to like Irene or Phoenix lmfao

I think for Ginger it just seems silly as she has made the final on her last attempt and so there isn’t a “storyline” to come back. I think I’d accept her doing Vs The World more but even then there’s so many queens who haven’t come back at all that I’d rather see in her slot. If she had a “robbed” trajectory on AS6 again, I’d get it, but meh. I could see her not making the finale this time as well, she didn’t really do that well on AS6 (she killed Snatch Game obviously and should probably have won the acting challenge over Kylie), she’s capable of going either way really but I think a group of 5 if she stumbles, it’s going to be kind of embarrassing for a returning finalist to go out early.
