Jordan would be a god awful winner, I really don’t see the appeal in him being miserable and bored all season, playing with Henry all season then conveniently deciding on the final week he likes him after all. Jenkin rightfully got slated but Jordan has sat there with a face like a slapped arse through most of the fun tasks and teenage girls who live by Heartstopper infantalise him and call him a precious small bean for it, yawn. I’m absolutely sick of this “yaasss my bisexual lawyer king sarcastic icon, my life is complete” every time he breathes lmfao.
Olivia, as much as she’s had ups and downs, Noky and Yinrun are the ones who deserve to win imo. If we’re talking about being a fully rounded housemate, honestly Olivia, but I’ve gone for Yinrun. It would be nice for once for someone pure and lovely to win, like imagine how much it mean to Yinrun and how much the money would change her life.

Tom is a rancid incel but Christ I have ZERO respect for Jordan after that, how can you sit there while someone is so vile about your close friend from the entire run of the show?! Spineless little twerp, fake as f***
Tom has to be one of the absolute WORST ever though, complete and utter waste of space. Not a single memorable or positive moment this entire series. Totally pointless, he makes Maysoon look like Nikki Grahame.

Anna go girl give us NOTHING. Sadly Fantasia also needs to step it up, she is legendary and so amazing but she hasn’t adapted so well to Dragula yet imo. Her performance in the lip sync was top tier though.
As much as Nio and Ork are eating this up, my winner pick for me is Throb! Nio and Ork I feel sometimes struggle with being on theme, but they have the best looks, whereas Throb so far I feel is so good at adapting his drag for the themes given. Nio is by far and away the most creative monster though and I can’t wait to see what she brings every week.

Surely his character matters more than his politics?
If we take that away, he’s a nice enough guy that’s about it. There’s no spark to win and really he hasn’t lit up the series apart from this love triangle/showmance thing which I find deathly boring personally. But the things being a Tory reveals about your character deep down, I can’t look past personally. I thought maybe he was growing and didn’t know better, but to gloat about how great boris did at covid was just gross.

ITV are paying Nigel Farage £1.5M to appear on this series. Repugnant.
Not defending anything Trish said but ITV banning her from going on Late and Live to at least have a chance to apologise and explai herself to the audience when they are happy to pay a rampant racist over double the previous record for I’m A Celeb to go in and have a platform to 10 million viewers for 3 weeks is absolutely disgusting.

Don’t even watch the show and it’s so obvious all the casting archetypes:
Danielle is the Jacqueline Jossa type, she will tough it out and bored mums will love her for being brave but she will be lovely so everyone will like her too
Nigel is a runner-up , “what a top bloke” racism conveniently forgotten
Nick is a nice guy soap actor who comes 3rd but doesn’t have momentum to win
Much like his stint on BB, I think Sam is like 4th, not that exciting but attractive so stays around
Josie will be besties with Farage, those two will start the arguments and drama but she will be the one hated and come 5th or 6th
Jamie-Lynn quits after like 3 or 4 trials she keeps getting voted to do
Grace Dent is second out maximum who nobody knows and gets no airtime apart from one trial when they begin to choose who does them

Yeah I agree! Someone who has been so emotionally intelligent, always called out those in the wrong, been best friends with the two gays and a Chinese woman…. And all along this has been who she is.
I suppose she maybe has grown a lot in the space of a few years, but there is absolutely no excuse for someone at the age of 23/24 or so to say stuff like she has, even 10 years ago when times were different. I mean “x looks gay” or something once or twice, let’s be real we probably all said that at school, back then it was done, but “I wish I was as motivated as hitler” and various iterations of “Asian people smell” from a grown adult, that’s not just people digging up irrelevant shit.
-
There’s anti semitic jokes on there from THIS year…. And “I wish I was as productive as Hitler”from before.
To be honest if it was just a couple of tweets from all those years ago (like over a decade as most of them are), you can argue she was young, but but even then, a decade ago she was older than Hallie or Tom are now and the same age as Jenkin. But it’s a whole myriad of tweets about pretty much any type of minority you can think of, including transphobia and a LOT of anti Asian tweets… Some of them as recent as 2019 for some of the really bad ones.

Tinuke is easily my fave here, she’s the only one I feel is playing a game that remotely resembles Survivor alongside Doug! She’s smart so I hope she lasts. Ithink Jess with Shai is at least a bit of social game tbh, she knows people are annoyed by him and she at least had a plan in place thinking about the voting numbers and what might happen, but she is far too singular just thinking about Shai.
A big issue for me is the editing, like we see that they all randomly hate Shai but you don’t really see why, they spend far too long on samey physical challenges and not enough time seeing the social dynamics and actually getting to know the people. It’s kind of simultaneously rushed and drawn out? There also hasn’t been any big moves really, no blindsides, or anything you couldn’t call happening. Even when they pull out the usual Survivor twists like tribe swaps, I feel like it hasn’t shaken up the game much, idk it’s just the more episodes go by, the more you notice so many pieces aren’t in place.
-
This is INFURIATING “Shai is playing a game” IT IS A BLOODY GAME. A bit more strategy seems to be emerging with Caleton, the social game part seemed to be a bigger part of this episode instead of thinking about the physical aspect of challenges only, hopefully that continues as I found this episode more enjoyable due to that.

Dede was by far the worst, they perhaps could have gone for Cara and her bottom 2, I thought Cara did really well for an acting challenge but Michael did do so much better. They have done it plenty of times where they kind of judged in teams but did whoever for the bottom 2, I think it’s Dede’s time to go but I feel like she probably would have beaten Cara in that lipsync as she is so good at performing. Idk if Cara has toooo much more to give but I think she deserves to be there over Dede. There was no way they were letting Michael go but I do honestly think she won that lipsync, it could have been a double shantay if they really wanted but Cara did stumble a bit and Michael served face and I think it was her kind of song more than Cara’s.
If I’m honest I feel like Ginger did a bit better than Kate but I’m glad Kate finally got her win, she deserves it for sure.

Cameron winning AFP was even worse than this utterly horrific top 3. Tbh jag deserved to win out of the 3 but he’s still a bottom tier winner. He did slaughter Matt in the jury questions, but I really hesitate to say he played even a decent game.
I completely agree this is becoming too physical and with CBS already having Survivor and the Challenge exists, why do they need that? It almost feels like BB is just becoming a factory line to fill up lineups for the Challenge.

Why do I have this really...weird feeling...that Olivia has a really strong fanbase and she's actually going to win?
Yeah I can see it, without Trish I think it’s her or Jordan. I suppose all of Trish’s fans are likely to go to Yinrun but idk I just don’t see her winning sadly.
Honestly if Trish goes I don’t think I can be arsed to watch the final week, but I’ll vote Yinrun still in that case.

I think Anna should have gone home this week tbh, I definitely think Cynthia has more to show so I’m glad she’s staying but for me Anna hasn’t really showed who she is either of the two weeks even though I really liked her look last week. It would have been a shame to lose Anna this week but I don’t think Onyx deserved bottom 2 really as if you look at the source material she did well even if I didn’t LOVE the look. Idk I think Onyx isn’t here at the right time but if you judge it based on this week I don’t think she was the right choice to go home.
-
I’m finding this a bit boring now tbh, kinda fell off just in two episodes  It seems to just be vote off the women because they are ostensibly worse at the challenges. Where is the actual strategy?! Lee and Pegleg being adamant to vote off the women when Pegleg didn’t do that well at a couple of challenges either, and they both barely tried in the bell ringing things. I’m almost certain with the way they’re going, Leilani is straight out as soon as La Nena go to tribal again. I suppose perhaps strategy might come later when the tribes merge and they actually think about winning, but right now it’s just drawn out, boring, and Joel narrating everything comes across as patronising when it’s a pretty basic format and the same shit happens every episode
Survivor can be so chaotic and fast paced, this feels dull and it drags, I suppose it’s finding its feet and you can’t expect classic Survivor right away nor should we maybe compare, but for what the format can be, this just isn’t really giving.
