  1. EPISODE 4: Girl groups

Top 2: Tayce, Denali double win

    High: Gia, Bimini

    Low: Gottmik

Bottom 2: Keta, Pythia Pythia eliminated

Tayce re-enters the workroom with confidence, knowing that she can be the lipsync assassin for another season and reminding them nobody can send her home. The girls note it will be remarkably quieter without Choriza, and ponder what the next challenge may be. It is revealed to be girl groups, and Tayce, Bimini, Denali and Gia are excited given they previously won the same, or similar in Denali’s case, challenge.

The groups are Keta/Utica/Denali, Tayce/Anita/Gia and Bimini/Pythia/Gottmik. Bimini feels she may be at a disadvantage with two queens not known for their performance. The girls all perform within their groups in the same song, House Down Boots, and must write their own verse to the song and choreograph a routine as a group.

Keta’s group is mixed, with Keta struggling to sell her verse, Utica’s kookiness working overtime to mask her struggles with character and Denali killing it. Tayce’s group is the strongest. Bimini kills her verse, but Gottmik and Pythia notably struggle with the choreo and cannot keep up with Bimini.

Tayce, Denali, Gia and Bimini all receive good critiques, with the judges noting that Tayce somehow greatly improved on her already iconic UK Hun verse from her first Drag Race stint, whilst Gottmik, Pythia and Keta receive mixed or negative critiques. Gottmik’s actual verse is praised but she is told she should have upped the performance to keep up with Bimini, and Pythia receives similar comments. Keta is told she was in her head, and it showed with a completely lost performance.

Tayce and Denali are called as the top 2, while Pythia and Keta are the bottom 2. Tayce and Denali lipsync to No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) by Barbra Streisand & Donna Summer, and the high energy queens absolutely murder the song, resulting in a double win. Pythia and Keta lipsync to He Wasn’t Man Enough by Toni Braxton, and Keta sends Pythia home.

Who are the queens who weren't even in the top for a challenge you thought could/should have won - I was just listening to Not Sorry Aboot It

Lemon in CDR1 for Not Sorry Aboot It - one of the best Drag Race verses ever

Elektra Shock in DRDU for Queens Down Under - imagine being in the BOTTOM for this?!?

Monique Heart in S10 for the first design challenge

Denali/Rose in S13 for the disco challenge

Widow in S12 for World's Worst

Scarlet Envy in S11 for the Ball

Miz Cracker in S10 for the Cher Rusical

Aja in AS3 for the Ball (actually agog she was ELIMINATED in that outfit)

  3. EPISODE 3: Design

Top 2 Utica and Gottmik Utica wins

    High Bimini, Pythia

    Low Anita

Bottom 2: Tayce, Choriza Choriza eliminated

Back in the workroom following Charity’s elimination, Utica is put out that the judges are not feeling her drag yet again, but she remains firm in a resolve that she will be herself. It's a delight for Utica as the next challenge is revealed to be a design challenge!

Each queen is assigned a queen they competed with on Drag Race, and they must design a look that embodies both that queen and their own drag. Anita receives Kita Mean, Denali gets Rosé, Gottmik gets Symone, Utica gets Tina Burner, Choriza has River Medway, Gia has Kendall Gender, Pythia receives Icesis Couture, Tayce receives A’Whora (wink nudge), Bimini gets Lawrence Chaney, and Keta is given My Little Puny. There is some commotion that certain queens get someone they know very well, wwith heat particularly coming to Anita as Kita is her drag partner, business partner and best friend. Anita is worried as despite knowing Kita’s style and it fitting her own drag, design is not her strong suit.

Utica, Gottmik, Pythia and Bimini all do the best in the challenge, whilst Anita, Tayce and Choriza struggle. Utica is praised for somehow managing to make Tina’s aesthetic into a couture fashion-ready end product, Gottmik is lauded for blending her and Symone’s eye for fashion into one great product, Bimini receives good critiques for embodying Lawrence, and Pythia is praised for poking fun at her light rivalry with Icesis during CDR’s look based challenges. Anita is acknowledged as melding her and Kita’s styles well, but the construction of her outfit is sloppy. The judges are disappointed with Choriza’s basic look, and they don’t get A’whora from Tayce’s look. Utica and Gottmik are called as the top 2, harking back to both their S13 premiere lipsync and mini-rivalry in their season’s Ball, whilst Choriza and Tayce are named as the bottom 2, with Anita, Pythia and Bimini being called safe.

Gottmik and Utica lipsync to Into The Nightlife by Cyndi Lauper, and Utica gets her revenge on Gottmik by snatching the win with ease. Choriza and Tayce battle it out to Obsessed by Mariah Carey, with Tayce serving the attitude and sending another girl home.

  4. I'm LIVING for that triple Charity win!! It would have been so much better had the win distribution been like that, one of the main problems was Ella just "professionally" winning everything for me, it got boring. I know how you feel too, one of those series where if someone mentions it I get re-annoyed by how the competition went
  5. I felt bad they didn't single out Gia as a look queen either because she's probably served some of the most high concept, expensive looking drag outfits of the season.

100%! Pythia is on another level and Icesis always looks stunning, but Gia consistently thought outside the box in ways nobody else would have (barring week 1's design challenge ). She's every bit as much of an all rounder as the other two imo although she failed a lot harder when she wasn't good at things..

  6. Ngl I ended up skipping the reunion bit, that was so dull

Icesis, Gia and Pythia would have been an all time great finale lineup D: Kendall is one of the weakest finalists for me based on what was shown in the actual show. he first lipsync was a tossup between Gia and Kendall, but as much as I love Pythia, Gia absolutely won that second lipsync, they just kept Pythia for having a better track record I feel. Which I'm not so mad at, but I wish Gia got to that final.

Icesis will win now I think/hope, for me she slightly has the "winner vibe" over Pythia. Pythia has been more consistent but Icesis has had the higher highs for me.

  7. EPISODE 2: Snatch Game

Top 2 Anita, Bimini Bimini wins

    High Keta, Gottmik

    Low Pythia

Bottom 2: Charity, Utica Charity eliminated

The first elimination weighs heavy on the queen’s minds as the pressure sets in and they remember how high the stakes are when competing. The mini challenge occurs and is the reading challenge, which is won by Gottmik. The queens are all excited to learn that the second maxi challenge is Snatch Game, and many of these queens get a second chance whilst Charity is keen to get a first shot, although she is nervous as it is not her wheelhouse, but it's something as an All Star, she needs to get used to.

The workroom walkthrough reveals the characters: Gia is Anna Faris, Gottmik chooses to portray her collaborator and friend NikkieTutorials, Anita selects actress Toni Collette, Bimini is a niche British comedy icon with Julia Davis (Jill Tyrell), Keta is Pamela Anderson, Tayce chooses Jade Thirlwall, Charity is Mystic Meg, Utica is Bill Nye The Science Guy, Choriza goes for Carmen Miranda, Denali picks Nicole Scherzinger and Pythia is Bjork.

Anita pulls from Toni’s characters in Muriel’s Wedding and Hereditary without it being too repetitive or reductive, whilst Bimini takes an already darkly ridiculous character and ramps the cringe-comedy up even more. Keta and Gottmik shine by nailing mannerisms, whilst Denali pokes fun at Nicole's diva reputation and domineering presence in a group. Tayce, Gia and Choriza pull off solid turns, while Pythia struggles after a strong start. Charity and Utica bomb, with Utica's Bill Nye bearing a striking resemblance to the car crash of her turn as Bob Ross.

Anita, Bimini, Keta and Gottmik are called as the tops, whilst Pythia, Utica and Charity find themselves in the bottom. Anita is lauded for her performance, particularly her quick wit and bouncing off of the other queens, and Bimini is praised for selling a character Ru was not aware of. Keta and Gottmik also receive good critiques, for their mannerisms and embodying the characters without sacrificing the jokes. Pythia is told she had the foundations of a good Snatch Game, but lost her way and got drowned out, whilst Charity and Utica receive negative comments as neither landed many jokes. The judges are put out that Utica made the same mistakes again!

Anita and Bimini lipsync for the win to Wannabe by Spice Girls, and it’s a close call but Bimini pips Anita to the post, with the Kiwi queen losing a second lipsync. Charity and Utica have to lipsync to Don’t Cry For Me Argentina by Madonna and Utica wins handily with her kooky dramatics, sending home Charity.

  8. I've been watching this and can't shake the feeling that Enorma was a producers mole to shake up the season and make good TV.

From the get-go she's been instigating fights on Untucked and being the villain at all costs. Also, this season has had all the twists in the book and more for such a short season. A save after elimination, a double shantay, a disqualification... I can't help but think they just want this season to have as much of an impact as possible, hence all the twists and shocks and an overly exaggerated villan.

Very true, and the fact it comes out of nowhere too! That might be bad editing like most of the show, but it is just bizarre.

  9. EPISODE 1: Talent Show

Top 2: Anita, Tayce Tayce wins

    High Bimini, Denali

    Low Utica

    Bottom 2: Choriza, SagittariaSagittaria eliminated

The queens enter the workroom one by one, based on the season they competed in. First up is the lone Down Under rep, Anita Wig’lit. She notes she felt she didn’t have enough time on her season and is back to prove herself. Pythia enters, promising to bring the kooky genderf*** vibes, followed by her CDR2 sister Gia. Utica enters and Pythia jokes she isn’t the only quirky queen this time, and she is followed by Denali and runner-up Gottmik, her Season 13 sisters. Bimini crashes the workroom, followed by Tayce serving face. Sagittaria enters as the only Spanish queen, followed by Keta Minaj from Holland 2 who’s entrance references the furore of her shock elimination. Charity and Choriza are the last to enter the workroom.

In the talent show, Anita starts strong with some stand-up comedy, in which she is self depreciating and roasts some of her Down Under sisters. Pythia performs a lipsync mix, which is solid but low energy, whilst Gia performs a high energy dance number. Utica serves performance art, Denali performs the house down and Gottmik walks the runway to her own mix. Bimini performs a striking and unique social justice spoken word piece, whilst Tayce steals the show with a high energy lipsync and dance performance. Sagittaria wants to redeem her DRE roast by doing some comedy, which is awkward and does not receive the right laughs. Charity gives a Dragula floorshow esque performance whilst Choriza performs her song My Pussy Is Like A Peach.

The tops are singled out as Tayce, Denali, Bimini and Anita, whilst the bottoms are singled out as Choriza, Utica and Sagittaria, with the other queens marked safe. Tayce is highly praised for her lipsync, with the judges noting that she brought what they already loved and improved it, and Denali gets similar comments. Bimini is praised for using her platform whilst not letting the performance suffer, and Anita is lauded for her comedy chops that kept the judges laughing throughout. On the other hand, Choriza’s performance is given mixed reviews with the song not being liked by the judges, and Utica is told her concept was good but the performance as a whole was boring. Sagittaria receives the worst critiques, as she hardly landed any jokes in her set.

Anita and Tayce are named as the top 2, and they lipsync to S.O.S. (Let The Music Play) by Jordin Sparks. Tayce sets the stage alight, easily winning the week. Afterwards, it’s a Spanish battle as Sagittaria and Choriza face off to Disco Love by The Saturdays, with Choriza pipping Sagittaria to the post and surviving the first lipsync.

Forgive more self-indulgent essay topics but I did this and thought it would be fun to share! I made an All Stars with 2021 queens from all series, who I thought deserved a second shot at the crown.

    CAST:

    Anita Wigl'it (DRDU, 8th)

    Bimini Bon Boulash (DRUK2, runner-up)

    Charity Kase (DRUK3, 8th)

    Choriza May (DRUK3, 6th/7th)

    Denali (S13, 8th)

    Gia Metric (Canada, TBA)

    Gottmik (S13, runner-up)

    Keta Minaj (DRH2, 4th)

Pythia (Canada, TBA)* I feel like Icesis will win so putting her here as a runner-up

    Sagittaria (DRES, runner-up)

    Tayce (DRUK, runner-up)

    Utica (S13, 6th)

  11. I just don't get how, when the behaviour was something was that bad they didn't even show it all, how was Enorma allowed to carry on until the next week but then get disqualified by a lipsync? Also Ava was in the bottom last week, if they wanted to disqualify her, they could have just not had ANOTHER double shantay?? I am assuming it was a physical fight maybe which they didn't show but if it was that bad, I'm baffled as to how "lipsync and you might be able to stay, oh well xx" is fine lmao, but either way they knew it went on last week so why wait until now??

I just can't get into this series because everything going on around the competition seems to be overtaking the actual competition. They spent all that time on a disqualification they could have just done immediately last week, then the runways were about 2 seconds long and felt really rushed.

  12. My thoughts:

Angeria - I didn't expect her to be like that at ALL? Solely based on her look, I thought she was gonna be a "go girl give us nothing" polished but dull type for some reason. I really like her personality and aesthetic so far!

Alyssa - not feeing a huge amount towards her at present, she gives me token early out language barrier queen

Bosco - I feel she could go either way, her promo look was disappointing based on what I've seen of her drag aside from that but then maybe the theme was stifling idk. I love her humour so far and I feel like I will stan

Daya - as much as I love Crystal, it feels rn like she envokes her too much but in a weaker way

Deja - she's giving me lovable early out vibes, we shall see

Jasmine - seems like a bitchy fashion queen to me so far, hopefully there is more we shall see

Jorgeous - seems likeable and pretty fun, one to watch I think

June Jambalaya - she's stunning, really polished too if not the most exciting

Kerri Colby - stunning, I do want more than "I'm sexy and pretty" though

Kornbread - ICONIC, I just love her already and I felt like I could have watched her for the entire MTQ duration

Lady Camden - she's radiating warmth, I think she could be amazing if she melds the best parts of US and UK drag as she promised

Maddy - honestly from the MTQ... It does seem like she maybe was just cast for being straight because althoguh she seems nice enough, there doesn't appear to be a *huge* amount there

Orion - seems really chill and likeable, could go either way

Willow - loving her so far and if she's anything as good as Yvie on the runway, then I'm ready to stan! Her personality is so up my alley thus far, also her paint is STUN

    Ranking:

    Kornbread

    Willow

    Lady Camden

    Bosco

    Angeria

    Deja

    Orion

    Jorgeous

    June

    Daya

    Maddy

    Kerri

    Jasmine

    Alyssa

  13. Quick rundown of what we know now we've met the queens:

    EP1 (split premiere) talent show:

    Kornbread wins

Orion/June lipsync to Water Me by Lizzo, Orion eliminated

    EP2 (split premiere) talent show:

    Angeria wins

Daya/Deja lipsync to Fallin' by Alicia Keys, Daya eliminated

    EP3 ball:

Daya and Orion return (fake elims) There is then a twist in which each eliminated queen from now on gets a chocolate bar at random, if they have a golden ticket then they are re-instated into the competition immediately

The ball themes are split based on which talent show group the queen was in - red, white and blue or animal print

Willow wins, Daya possibly wins in a double win due to split themes but it seems more likely that Willow wins solo

Maddy/June lipsync to I Love It by Kylie Minogue, June eliminated

    EP4 scripted acting:

    Angeria wins

    J-Lo runway

Alyssa/Kerri lipsync to Play by Jennifer Lopez, Alyssa eliminated

    EP5 Bossy Rossy :mellow::

    Kornbread quits due to injury

    Bosco wins

Orion/Jorgeous lipsync to My Head and My Heart by Ava Max, Orion eliminated

Jorgeous/Jasmine lipsync to Something's Got A Hold On Me by Etta James, double shantay

    EP9 Rusical

Daya/Lady Camden top 2 lipsync to One Way Or Another by Blondie, Lady Camden wins

Jorgeous/Bosco lipsync to Heartbreak Hotel by Whitney Houston, Bosco eliminated

    EP10 Snatch Game

    Bosco returns - golden ticket

    Deja wins as Lil John

Characters could include Ilana Glazer, Tammie Brown, Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna, Betsy DeVos, Jessica Simpson

Bottom SEVEN !!! of everyone else who will all lipsync next episode, it's unclear whether it's really bad or they just wanted next episode's twist. Due to this, Deja lipsyncs "for her pleasure" to Levitating by Dua Lipa

    EP11 Lipsync tournament

    Round 1

Jasmine vs. Daya - Daya wins

Willow vs. Bosco - Never Too Much by Luther Vandross - Willow wins

Jorgeous vs. Angeria vs. Camden - Radio by Beyonce - Jorgeous wins

    Round 2

Angeria vs. Jasmine - Love Don't Cost A Thing by Jennifer Lopez - Angeria wins

Bosco vs. Camden - Camden wins

    Round 3

Bosco vs. Jasmine - Bosco wins (!!!)

Bosco is meant to be an abysmal lipsyncer and Jasmine survives 3 prior to losing all these 3 so... god knows what happens

    EP12 Roast of Ross Matthews

    Bosco wins

Deja/Jorgeous/Daya lipsync to Good 4 U by Olivia Rodrigo - Jorgeous/Deja double sashay, apparently Jorgeous kills this but is sent home due to track record

    EP13 Rumix

Winner unknown, if there is one

Willow/Angeria lipsync to Telephone by Lady Gaga, outcome isn't known as both were filmed

  14. I literally would have reversed all the placements. Adriana was by far the worst though and imo they were very kind to her constructed gown.

Pythia's was my least favourite of the looks although it was clearly a lot of work went into it. The win went to Icesis or Kendall in my book. I don't think they explained the challenge very well tbh.

It always seems to be the case with the makeover on Drag Race that they’re more vague, I guess it’s an easy challenge to give someone a storyline win or bottom 2 placement to fit a “journey”, or just to get someone out who they want out or feel has run their course. I do think Pythia deserved to win and Adriana’s time to go was now so it worked out fine but Icesis bottom 2 was just baffling to say the least.

  15. That was such a lovely, wholesome episode. It was amazing to see those queer young people living their best lives and belong on that stage. I can't believe it took this long to have a makeover like this, my heart was so full watching all of that. I kinda wish it was a double shantay but I do think Icesis won that, it would have been nice to have to fit with the vibe of the episode being lovely and wholesome.

BUT how on earth was Icesis bottom 2 over Kendall?? She served something different to what she's done so far and her daughter looked AMAZING. Kendall's dress for her daughter was horrible imo, and when they mentioned it was a design challenge I thought that would matter, plus she's already done the Kris Jenner thing. I always hate when they go on about "story" on a makeover runway when for me it should be more about the looks as that's a hard enough thing to do on someone else, alongside yourself. I guess it's storyline for Icesis after she won the other two look/design challenges and has that little rivalry with Pythia over it? I get you do need a bit of a story but when the outfit looked like that, that should be enough. I did love the story and connection Kendall had with Ethan/Stormi, but that look was not good at all and I think that should outweigh in what they said was a design challenge.

Pythia ATE that though and deservedly had that win, the fact she made two matching outfits and brought out everything her child wanted was amazing. I can't decide whether I want her or Icesis to win with Gia as a strong All Stars contender but I'd still be fine if she did win! Kendall is lovely but again, she is so far behind and has done badly or average at nearly everything and just is not on that same level as the other three.

  16. There's a lot of discourse about Maddy so far as the first straight cis male on the show, and I understand why some people are questioning it.

However, people who don't do drag (a vast majority of detractors) are not in the place to gatekeep this imo. If someone performs in our community and makes a name for themselves to the point they are on Drag Race, as someone who is clearly very talented, I don't see how it means she is not deserving. I get there is a lot to be done for actual queer representation but it isn't Maddy's fault she is cast first over say a drag king. The show is indeed rooted in queer culture but it's their drag that matters, whatever their identity is! I'm sure Maddy is an ally who respects queer spaces, as someone who performs as a drag queen, and to me that is what matters. There are some gay people who don't respect queer culture and spaces, and there's straight people (usually women, moreso) who actually do. It's not like some random dude bro who has started drag yesterday is on the show taking the piss. Nobody batted an eyelid at Disasterina on Dragula for example who I believe is straight, I just feel like the demographic who watches Dragula is not the same judgemental demographic who largely watch Drag Race.

As for everyone else, Willow, Bosco and Daya seem like the ones I will love based on the first look.

Additionally, this season will only be on WOW+ not Netflix! I'm fine as I pay for WOW anyway but it's definitely a mistake to lock it behind a more or less dedicated service instead of something most people have.

  17. This is the messiest season ever lmfao I want whatever the producers are on

I completely feel for Ava tonight, the views of drag this panel has are very very narrow minded. It wasn't a good look but there's a way to critique it that isn't... that. To me it comes across that they aren't open minded and can't articulate their comments in a way that isn't tearing the queens down. Perhaps it is the culture/language but it feels that way to me.

There's just so many things wrong with nearly every aspect of this show that makes it hard for me to want to continue.

  18. Yeah it's doable but it's one of those where if you aren't prepared you're kinda screwed, you do need to have certain counters prepared and I didn't really have one for Garchomp so that was difficult. And it's at a point in the game where you have to grind a lot so it takes time to get something up the right level to replace a team member, so I just power levelled with who I had as I cba grinding LOADS  I suppose it just makes it feel almost unfair and like an uphill battle but that's fitting for a champion battle, it would be way easier if you could easily EV train and perfect your team to counter her in that way.

    My strategies ended up being:

Spiritomb - I had to just Nasty Plot with Honchkrow and brute force through with Dark Pulse, since Honchkrow resists or is immune to all of its moves, I could get 2 Nasty Plots up and one shot it. I thought this could but...

Milotic - I was gonna try and brute this too but it lived, so on another try I Taunted it with Honchkrow so it couldn't Recover and then

Gastrodon - easy one shot with Roserade

Lucario - one shot by Close Combat from Infernape

Roserade - went down in one hit to Gligar's Acrobatics

Garchomp - Ice Fang from Floatzel didn't even do half with Garchomp's berry intact, eventually I had to Knock Off its ice weakness berry with Gligar, but in doing so it got a Swords Dance up which was a death sentence. I won because of the cheese-luck that meant Floatzel lived one attack and dodged the other so it could go down

I just beat Cynthia's second rematch with little trouble as I had a fully EVd Feraligatr (max speed and attack - didn't outspeed Garchomp though) to deal with Garchomp this time

  19. This season is so so good! It's been a while since at this stage of a competition, I've genuinely not wanted any of them to go home. Zavaleta was probably right to go but I still felt like her journey was brilliant, the fact I hated her right at the start andwe saw such growth from her once the trouble petered out (ie once Merrie and to a lesser extent Betty went, really). Sigourney finally broke free of glamour, it's just a shame that it didn't quite go right, and Saint/HoSo killed the challenge imo plus HoSo had the best floorshow this week. Dahli definitely stumbled but for me but he has been killing it this whole time otherwise and is my winner at this point, so I'm glad he stayed. Any of the four could win and I'd be happy but I feel they will give it to Saint? The fact they said this week that perhaps they need to show someone who is lower energy and a different approach could win just made me think that idk, plus they're giving the same notes each week but don't seem to mind her not listening to that? I do get it tbh, I don't think it's Saint giving no energy, it's that she has such a different and refreshing outlook on her art, she just knows what works for her and has never bent to that, but it's not been boring to me, so it's working.
