  1. 125-150k. Probably towards the upper end of that scale :) I think perhaps 140k.
  2. For the songs that haven't been tracked, do you know where I might find their totals before tracking ended?
  3. Could I have total sales for Lady Gaga's pre-BTW singles? Just Dance Poker Face Paparazzi Love Game Bad Romance Telephone Alejandro Thanks in advance, but if not that's fine :)
  4. New website for top 100 popbars :) http://kworb.net/popuk/ Dark green = large increase Light green = small increase White = steady Light red = small decrease Dark red = large decrease
  5. Gaga killed it :smoke:
  6. 15. Marry the Night - Lady GaGa (+1) 216. Marry the Night - Lady GaGa (-14) #15 combined, approximately 0.5% away from #14
  7. Think top 5. Want top 20. It isn't a good song, but I like Rihanna and don't want her to flop.
  8. I am so disappointed with Rihanna's new single...

But there was a big deal about Germany overtaking the UK as the world's 3rd-largest music market? Either way, Y&I has only just started getting decent airplay in the UK, and there has been no promotion apart from the video. I think it'll climb.

Germany is the second largest market behind the US in the western world. And, in Germany, Y&I has been climbing steadily into the top 30, so it is doing fine there considering TEOG is still huge. Also, Japan isn't involved in subscription based services. This is nothing to do with Gaga, who doesn't sell many physical singles in Japan. The high numbers you see per week are actual purchases. The official Japanese singles chart (Oricon) counts only physical CD sales. Each CD sale costs about as much as an album in the US. And people buy the singles in droves. This week's #1 sold 1.354million copies. South Korea has subscription based services. Japan does not, which is why it is a far bigger music market than the UK.
  11. I suppose a lot of the time radio support acts to promote the album, rather than singles.

May I ask, what are the album sales based on? Downloads, or downloads and physicals, or...?
  13. http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?p=5979118#5979118 Now... #1 in 25 countries #2 in 2 countries #3 in 1 country #5 in 2 countries.
  14. No idea how many markets are yet to report, I have sites for quite a few of them, but we just have to wait for updates. A lot of the European countries will come in tomorrow, so we'll see! But from reading through different sites, I think Denmark and Italy are fairly certain #1s. Not sure about the rest though! Poland is #12 because it was only on sale in one store for the weekend. I'm expecting a great rise this week and, given how it has already gone Platinum there, a #1.
  15. Check the link I posted - each position has a hyperlink to the chart source :)
  16. http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?p=5979118#5979118 So far... #1 - 21 countries #2 - 2 countries #5 - 2 countries #12 - 1 country

  18. Although is it not the case that this song will probably sell less than 100k this week?
  19. Lady Gaga debuts at #1 in the Oricon Japanese Album Chart with sales of 184,000. She is the first western solo artist to hit #1 on the chart since Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' in 2009 and the first western female to do so since Madonna's 'Hard Candy' in 2008. http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/rankmusic/88250/full
  20. Even still, if she does get anywhere near the YE #2, I'd be delighted. I mean 3 years in a row in unbelievable. She'll get that YE #1 eventually. Maybe not this year, maybe not next. But eventually :)
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga was ~130-150k next week. I mean this week probably went something like this: 94k 32k ~30k ~25k ~30k ~40k Giving ~250k for the week. I wouldn't be surprised if she sold around an average of 20-25k per day next week.
  22. This is madness. Usually the final predictions are made on Thursday, but BTW's are constantly increasing!
  23. Billboard increase their prediction to 1.15million: http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/re...005205482.story
  24. Billboard increase their prediction to 1.15million: http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/re...005205482.story
  25. Don't forget, she just spent longer at #1 in the US with one song than she has ever spent with her other #1s combined...
