Have you listened to the Seacrest interview?? I haven't, I just heard people talking about it and that's what they said.

According to American forums, Lady GaGa did an interview with Ryan Seacrest and she announced then. She also gave the names of loads of tracks and some of the lyrics of 'Hair'.

Lady Gaga vs Jessie J
Hopefully Lady GaGa will get it this week, but if not, the video is rumoured to be released next week, so that should boost to #1 next week!!

Didn't want to say it out loud until it's confirmed, apparently she said it on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Oh, and I wanted to build suspense :)

I think Grammys could boost, as Jessie J isn't performing tomorrow anyway. http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/re...005035092.story :o

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (II)
My sales prediction for tomorrow: Lady GaGa ~45k-47k Jessie J ~27k Based on: Jessie J 95k/7 = 13.5k x 2 = 27k Lady GaGa 27 x 1.67 = 46k

Here's hoping Jessie J doesn't snatch GaGa's wig... Still 1.67x.

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (II)
Popbars @ 4PM - Lady GaGa's lead *still* 1.67x. Guess she's stabilised there. I don't think Jessie J will get a *huge* Brits effect anyway, as she isn't performing. Whatever Grammy effect there is, Lady GaGa will get, as she performed 15mins into the ceremony which is 10.15PM on Wednesday, so more people will see it than if it was much later.

The answer to 'for how long' seems to be 'not much longer'. The popbars posted at 5AM showed a 1.67x lead, which is *exactly* the same as her lead at the 9AM popbars and my own popbars which I viewed at 10.45AM.

The Grammy Effect
Is there likely to be one?? Do Grammy-winning/performing acts usually see an increase on UK iTunes??

Quick question - do the Grammys tend to have an effect on UK iTunes??

On my iTunes, LG's popbar is increasing again :)

Born This Way
Come on, she must have easily made top 10.

Born This Way
I predict 50k based on iTunes Assuming the #1 sells 80k (80k/7)*2 = 23k in 2 days (Based on iTunes being 48hr rolling chart) 23k*2.16 (GaGa's average lead) = 49k-50k

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
Yeap, those proportions are showing on mine too :)
-
iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
These seem weird, because if they are right LG's lead has gone from 2.33x to 1.95x in about 10minutes...
-
iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
In that case, it has increased from 2.23x to 2.33x

Haven't had a popbar update in a while, but I doubt it'll be decreasing

Born This Way
Yes, but so far we've seen how many copies GaGa has sold in 25hours compared to how many JJ has sold in 48. By midnight, we'll see how many GaGa has sold in 34hours compared to JJ's 48, which is a bit closer to what the actual result will be. (Based on it being a 48hour rolling chart).
