iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
This might sound stupid, but I really like the Chris Moyles version with Tina singing instead of Chris Brown, lol.

Born This Way
I put top 3, because I expect it could be #1 or top 5, so I went with the average :P I'm not willing to say anything by way of an official prediction until seeing midnight popbars.

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
I think she may edge #1 this week. Popbars at midnight will tell the full story, I guess. In the US, she debuted at #31 with 1838 spins on Pop Radio, beating Britney's 619 record. Overall, I think she got in the region of 2500 spins on other formats. Her first day AI is 25.083 with four days of AI left to chart. #1 on BBHot100 is almost certain. Her popbar is 6x at the minute.

I don't, really, lots of artists sell that much in 24 hours. It is GaGa, after all, she was always going to have a huge debut.

It went #1 on Australia a couple of hours before Denmark, though, and Denmark is included. I understand Japan though :)

Yeap. Worldwide iTunes domination. I don't mean to seem weird, but I'm quite proud :)

Lady Gaga - Born This Way
Final spin count in USA was in the region of 2400-2500, unsure of the exact number though. Let's hope it's made official today with amazing AI!!

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
She's officially #1 on 23/23 iTunes worldwide. Japan became the last country added to the list :) Nice little picture from atrl... http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/9273/tumblrlghb7bdmhr1qfg63a.gif (Whoever made it did forgot Australia and Japan) Also, her final spins in the US finished at around 2400-2500, unsure of the exact number, beating Britney's record of 619 with HIAM easily.

What does that mean, exactly...?? Hahaa, I don't understand it.

Yeah, 17k in 2 days seems incredibly low for a popbar like that, considering the number 1 will probably have sold in that region on Sunday and Monday...

Lady Gaga - Born This Way
Yeap, the show attracted 25.8M viewers last year and when you consider there'll be a far bigger proportion of music buyers watching the Grammys than any other show with 25.8M, it's fair to say she will have a safe boost.

She's also meant to be performing on Ellen, but a date hasn't been set.

True, I think it'll be more telling to see her bar after her full 48hours on the rolling chart.

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
I think it is really possible. GaGa is #1 in 21 countries on iTunes, but that doesn't include the countries in which iTunes is not the major music market. I doubt they'll release B&Y early - who would want to release against the BTW juggernaut??
-
iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
I think it's 21 at the minute... A lot of talk on atrl about it being #2 in Denmark and #3 in Japan. Unsure though.

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
I'm pretty sure GaGa will. It has another 38 hours to go until we can accurately see a 48hour sales comparison against its competitors, assuming iTunes is a 48hour rolling chart.

When is it out??

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (I)
Unfortunately, I have only followed American charts since around the time of Poker Face, so I don't actually know about Just Dance, although I know it did have a big sales boost the weeks it was number one - I think it was simultaneously #1 Hot 100 and #1 Digital Songs at the same time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember reading that somewhere.

But when it got beaten by ESOM, it was CRUSHING it in sales, but had 70M airplay compared to ESOM's 125M, which seems a bit unfair, given how she was pulling huge sales and missing #1 by 5pts one week, IIRC.

Keep stretching that lead!! To be honest I'm not *that* bothered about UK #1 right now, as she already has 4. I really want the US #1, as BR was robbed and BTW totally deserves it given the worldwide domination it has had.

Lady Gaga - Born This Way
Her lead in the US is x4.63 #2 and in Canada is x4.60 #2. It'll be x7 or x8 by tomorrow easily I reckon. I can't even imagine what her promo next week, especially the Grammys, will do!!

Lady Gaga - Born This Way
I know these may seem like relentless updates, but I'm just in awe if these numbers are true... Born This Way - 1,678 spins (+141) AC: 8 (+1) Alternative: 2 (=) Hot AC: 227 (+13) Rhythmic: 261 (+25) Top 40: 1180 (+102)

To be precise, HIAM got 619 spins first day.
