As people all over the internet seem to be doing, you're completely missing the point. The people buying RATM's "Killing In The Name Of" aren't buying it to spite Simon Cowell's gold stockpile or take anything away from what Joe whatsisname has accomplished (or not accomplished, I didn't watch the show) The vast majority of people who are buying the Rage track are doing so to show the major record labels that they are fed up of this commercialised cr@p (i.e pre-fab, production line "talent" show winners) who (on the whole) don't write (or choose) their own songs. Having thought about it, we probably overlap a bit with the people who voted Lordi to win the Eurovision ;)
