Time will tell. My friend texted me today. She's not an RW fan but saw the movie and absolutely loved it. That's the people the film needs to reach.

It's holding steady in the 6 theatres in US -but again -is the revenue reasonable or a total disaster -I haven't got a clue

Went to see this tonight. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Really enjoyed it -it felt very honest and authentic. It was great to have an incite into how he was feeling at the time. Choreography was amazing. :cheer: My only little gripe was the chronology of it but I guess not everyone is as big a fan as we are and wouldn't know.

Loving all these reviews -especially the US ones -where they don't know him. Love your photos Alex. :cheer: I have heard so many adverts for this film on the radio in the past few days -if it's not Wicked being advertised, it's Betterman. It's nearly time to find out if all the adverts convert to bums on seats. B-)

This guy wasn't feeling it! :lol: Maybe reactions will be much like those to Robbie himself -marmite - which as long as the film is promoting reactions -then that's a good thing

I went to watch the Lion King movie today at our local cinema. There was a great big cardboard cut out for Better Man in the foyer and a PG trailer came up on screen before our film. My daughter saw the trailer and although she is a Robbie fan and obviously knows the words to all his songs throughout her childhood :lol: -she said the whole monkey thing put her off actually going to see it. I told her in all the reviews it stated that you forget about the monkey after the first ten minutes but she didn't seem convinced.... It occurred to me whether other people will think like that?

It is a shame -how disappointing! :(
