I do page past all the online posts showing their lavish Christmas/birthday arrangements though. I think they're very grounded as a family and it just makes me feel sorry that he has to work so hard to financially sustain that kind of home life. I'm not interested (nor is it any of my business) so I scroll on past. :)

I do think it's strange that he (apparently) doesn't visit his Dad for so long (although of course we don't know the truth in that). I do remember him saying that Pete likes a nice quiet, simple life, that he wouldn't move for many years out of his existing flat to somewhere "nicer". I know he did move a couple of years ago but it seems he likes a normal life away from all the noise and publicity. I think there's no doubt of his love for his Dad. He's shown that many times and Pete is fiercely loyal to his son and daughter in law. I guess the arrangement suits them both.

No I think it's genuine Tess as Ayda has had quite a few photos with him over the last couple of years -just seems really strange when the person he spent Christmas Eve was patently Rob not Robbie the on stage entertainer. :unsure: I've always thought it strange that Howard (from TT) still calls him Robbie too but at least they grew up together when RW had to be called Robbie so I guess it's hard to break the habit.

Why would he call him "Robbie"? :unsure:
