Yes he said all this again tonight -he also said the other four TT lads couldn't back him up in his opinion of NMS so he can't say what he wanted to say because of fear of litigation. So no idea how they're going to address that in the movie because it's a pretty big part of the story isn't it. I guess there are lots of different versions of the truth. I think GB is quite close to NMS isn't he.

There you go - I bloody knew it was special and I wasn't imagining it :yahoo: This was another gorgeous moment. This beautiful young lady was blind and he dedicated She's the One to her.

Had a wonderful night -I'll be interested to hear what Vibe made of it but for me it felt very genuine and heartfelt. So -a beautiful venue and we had great seats. Up in the gallery but with a great view. Went with my youngest daughter who had a ball. She grew up with my Robbie obsession so knew all the words but hadn't ever seen him live solo- only at Progress as part of TT. Glad to report the wine wasn't £16 a glass "only" £11 :lol: The place was buzzing -lots of energy. Scott Mills came out and explained that Michael Gracey was there and we would all be extras and would be asked to perform certain things during the interval. The first half was mostly the same as the O2 gig -same running commentary, LMEY, Strong, Land of 1,000 dances, Don't Look Back in Anger (bloody epic), Everything Changes But you. No Eternity or Lost but did Candy which personally I loved. Lots of fun then it was the interval. Spoiler for the movie -don't read if you want to keep the magic ;) A very polite lady came and told us we would have to vacate our seats during the interval because cameras were going to be running along where we were sitting for the movie and gave us a couple of complimentary drinks vouchers as a thank you and could we go up to the standing gallery please -which we did. Along with our free drinks we got to view Michael Gracey directing the whole of the Albert Hall as to how to behave alongside a backing track of during My Way. There was a person holding a lit green ball which indicated where Robbie would be during the scene in the movie and on cue everyone had to be seated, then had to clap gently, then loudly, then perform a standing ovation and then cheer. This was run through twice and was very bizarre to watch. :lol: Then the interval was over and we raced back down stairs to reclaim our seats and Rob was back on. Second half was some swing -although no Mr Bojangles -he did Ain't that a Kick in the Head and another I can't remember which Then he did a lovely dedication to Teddy and we could see her and Ayda in one of the boxes opposite us . Rob sang Go Gentle to her and she was dancing along blowing her Dad kisses. Then he sang Feel. Then Rob did quite a long monologue just saying that everyone has their life stores and their journies and their ups and downs in life just like him but not everyone gets it turned into a film. He said other than his lovely family the one constancy in his life was his fans and how grateful he was. Then he said he was getting choked up and stopped a minute. Then he said he was tired and had only gotten three hours sleep the night before but he spoke very passionately and then something magical happened. He'd asked everybody to sit down as he was chatting but then people started to clap him and then everyone stood up and gave his a standing ovation -it was really heartfelt and genuine. :cheer: Next was Angels. The cameraman was right behind our set of seats so Kat was convinced our row would be in the movie. :lol: Then it was the final song and we knew he would sing My Way and Rob said he hoped he would only have to sing it once because it was such a beautiful song it deserved to be sung with feeling and emotion. Michael Gracey came back on and asked everyone to sit down, not to stand up and don't wave your arms around. So off Rob went ,all went well everyone singing along but it got to the final bit and of course everyone was caught up in the moment and got up and started cheering and clapping and it was very emotional. Then Rob said to Michael "don't suck all the energy out the room" but he did because he asked Rob to sing it again and started to explain to the audience about the green ball again, that this was where "young Rob" would be in the film - that it's the climax of the film . Robbie was astonished that this was what had gone on in the interval and said "if i can still read the words off the monitor I'm going to stand down there" so he went down the middle of the stalls and stood there surrounded by people and re-sang the song. I have to say though the second time around was a bit chaotic because peole had to sit down again and there was a lot of confusion of when people were allowed to clap and when not. Michael Gracey was running around trying to get people not to wave their arms around :lol: Robbie giggled a bit through it, people were standing up when they weren't supposed to and it was all a bit chaotic. We coukd see all this because we were looking down on it all. :lol: But anyway I think they had enough footage so that was the end of the gig. So much love in the room. So much energy. Even when it was supposed to be harnessed, it still leaked out :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Great night. That man must realise by now how much he is loved. My goodness you could feel it in there tonight. :heart:

Love Rudolph -yes it would make a perfect Christmas ad Look forward to listening to this album again soon My other favourites are "Yeah -it's Christmas" (an absolute genius of a song) ^_^ , It's a Wonderful Life", "Best Christmas Ever" and "Coco's Christmas Lullabye". With a special shout out to "Snowflakes" and "Soul Transmission". It's a great little album with some real gems on. :cheer: Not interested in the covers though. :lol:

Jonny and Rob's Dad have in the past been to the same social event in Stoke and they've both tweeted about it separately but not had a picture together. Pete would have known JW since he was a little boy -that wouldn't happen unless something was wrong. Let's hope it's not too many more years before we see them together again. :heart:

I don't think it's anything to do with Ayda because Jonny was so excited when they got married and Teddy was born. He was over the moon for them wasn't he. The timeline I can remember quite well because at the Brits Icon gig at the Troxy Jonny Wilkes wasn't there (Olly Murs was up with Rob's family instead) so I knew then that something was definitely wrong because there was no way Jonny would have missed a night like that previously. I know we had suspected that something wasn't right but that really confirmed it. That was November 2016. At SoccerAid 2016 they were both there together but I can remember thinking it was nice to see them together again so JW must have been missing for a bit before then. So (my theory) something either happened between June and November of 2016 or something happened prior to June 2016 but they got on with Socceraid because it was for charity and it would be churlish not to. I'm glad he hasn't got the tattoo removed.

Love that photo -I think that was the 2010 Socceraid - the one that he came on the pitch with Gary Barlow. If not that one -then it was 2012

Just watched this. Really enjoyed the intelligence of Zane Lowe and his questions and observations. Enjoyed RW equally intelligent, thoughtful replies. He's such a knowing and articulate man. I noticed he didn't mention his Dad nor JW. I did wonder when he was talking about the Netflix documentary whether he was confusing this with the movie when he was talking about animation and fantasy? I've always maintained that I could listen to RW talk for hours because of his Racconteur skills. He would be a great after dinner speaker . He would also be a great stand up comedian.
