I think it was Alex's idea of a medley originally as he showed the medley Robbie did when he won the 2010 special Brit award. 😃

In the past I've never minded his covers but now I realise they come at the cost of missing out on his original material too much and too frequently I haven't heard the podcast yet.

Years ago it used to upset me that I had been to a Rob gig and had the time of my life and then he would be in the paper a few days later saying he hated everything about it. Now I just accept that for him it is work, that he would rather be with Ayda and the kids but is making the best of it and he needs to earn loads of money to finance their life style. The whole does he want to be recognised, does he want anonymity thing - I find a lot of his posts exhausting to read. 😅 He seems to question everything all the time. The over analysing must be so tiring. I'm just happy not to be a celebrity and potter around in my garden. 😊

He seems to have the ability to speak for a lot of people in his industry with his posts. If he ever got fed up being a popstar -he would make a very good ambassador for change -he has the energy and ability to express himself so well.

I've always thought and always maintained -I would hate to be a celebrity - no amount of money would be worth the loss of privacy.

I'm desperate for good, new music. 😔 I'm not really excited at all about seeing him in June because it will be the same catalogue of songs I've heard the last ten times I've seen him. I saw the list of songs Rob sang in Malaga and I think of the 12 he did, six were someone else's. Why would you sing Minnie the Moocher over No Regrets? It makes no sense to me. I could list 40 Rob songs I would like to hear him sing live without pausing for breath 😅 and his argument that the hits "are what people want to hear" doesn't ring true if you're singing someone else's hits. He should be proud of all his beautiful songs not consign them to the bin never to be heard of again.
