  1. Colour me shocked that Rollo entered a song that's as long as a half-hour TV show without its ads.
  2. Great stuff. There's only one person that I definitely know sent in their song, so will be interesting to see who sent what.
  3. I have now "voted".
  4. This is a rather nice return. I guess there's only so far that London Grammar can diverge from their usual sound, but I think they've done well here - it actually reminds me of the slightly more dance-y turn that The xx took on their 3rd album.
  5. That's a good move. Ken Jeong was the weak link in the 1st series, and Mo is decent from what I know of him.
  6. What's the link?
  7. I did know that one, although I have been on Popmaster twice. Didn't win either time though - apparently Ultravox didn't have a hit with "Reap the Wild Oats". I liked Call On Me and still do, although I knew it before I knew the Steve Winwood song it sampled. The video used to make me wince, although I put that down to my prudish nature rather than anything else.

Ireland has tightened some of its Coronavirus regulations, so I have a feeling that the six counties might end up doing the same soon enough, our R number is above 1, and there's been a few local outbreaks in Co Down, so restrictions could be on the cards.
  9. Really hope "She's So High" stays in for a bit longer, I quite like that song as I've always been a sucker for that shoegaze-y sound, although I can see why others may not like it as much. Went for "On Your Own" this time around.
  10. I'd say that we might get some of the bigger British stars this year, largely because a lot of them won't have been able to work this year due to the Coronavirus and therefore would be more welcoming of the lucrative I'm a Celeb paycheck that's on offer, especially given that they won't have to give up time flying to and from Australia.

More like Slán Ireland then. ...I'll get my coat.
  12. Out of Your Mind vs Groovejet ? Groovejet every time. Out of Your Mind vs Spiller's gosh-awful follow-up single "Cry Baby"? A bit less cut and dry.
  13. I only know one there that isn't mine, so a lot of discovery in this.
  14. Buzzjack needs a ‘It’s a TikTok thing’ button or gif, given how often it’s the answer to many questions in this forum.
  15. Kamala Harris, who attacked Joe Biden as a racist during the Democratic Primary. What a difference a few months makes. A vote for the Democratic ticket is effectively a vote for the next two presidents, so Harris seemed like the likely choice.
  16. I'd guess the Nick Cave collaboration & Robbie Williams collaboration. I didn't like "Can't Get You Out of My Head" at the time, but I can see why it's so popular.

From what I understand, pupils in NI schools won't need to adhere to social distancing (instead, "best spacing" is advised), but the teachers and other adults will.
  18. Went for "For Tomorrow" in this round, although from the looks of votes so far nothing is safe.
  19. Made it through to the final round for the first time today, so I can feel like I've achieved something. Still haven't been able to make it through Slime Climb yet, if I do that then I know I've mastered the game.
  20. Brett-Butler has submitted her entry.
  21. Go team Nebraska! Will be interesting to see how this plays out, I do think we'd see a good variety of songs in this, would probably get a lot more country music than you'd see in Eurovision courtesy of the southern states, plus a few more rap artists as well.
  22. The new series will be filmed in a ruined castle, which means it can be filmed in the UK. Will be interesting to see how it changes the tone of the series.
  23. I actually bought a game for the first time in years so I could play this. It's great fun, although I've only got past the 1st round once in two days, so I've gone out and bought a games controller (have been using the keyboard so far) so I can see if it helps.
  24. This one took me by surprise. The Vegaboys' hit "Sha La La La La" was a cover of a 1973 track by Danish glam-rock band The Walkers - TzNKVoeft6A
  25. I imagine that they would have to go into a "bubble" together prior to the show if they can, but for those with a greater number of members, they may have to be more creative with how they present themselves, which might be easier for a choir to perform in separate places, less so for a dance act.
