iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 30th June 2017
She is a Model from the Ukraine and married to a very rich business man. It is said that her biggest wish was to be a famous and successful singer and so her husband does everything to make this wish come true. There are many rumours that her songs get into the itunes chart mostly due to "fake buys" (organized by her husband) because she does not happen on the radio, there is no promotion and her songs don't get much streams. Of course due to very high positions on itunes casual buyers get aware of the tracks and get to buy them. Some singles and albums of hers have already charted in several countries (especially in my home county Austria  ) and have had very strange chart runs.

She did win 10 years ago, so they would celebrate "10 year's anniversary of Leona Lewis winning the X-Factor"

35. Kygo - Carry me (feat. Julia Michaels) I am a bit suprised an disappointed that his appearance at the Olympics closing ceremony did next to nothing to his itunes chart position in the UK  Well, at least it has gone to No. 1 on itunes in Brazil :yahoo:

Dance Chart Number Ones 2000 - 2009
No, I would say it is not trance anymore. The music is now much more pop, ambient and chill out. Over the last years he has also made albums that had a classical influence. Artists he worked together include Sarah Brightman, Lang Lang, Mike Oldfield, Midge Ure and Colbie Caillat.

Dance Chart Number Ones 2000 - 2009
It does not surprise me that this was a moderate hit the the US. It sounds very similar to "Another Night" and Run away" from MC Sar & The Real McCoy which were two of the most successful Eurodance singles there. Did not know that Schiller's "Glockenspiel" got a UK release :o By the way the project is still very successful in Germany, but over the years has started focussing more on albums than singles. The former duo in 2003 has become a "one man show" and Christopher von Deylen regularly gets a Number 1 album helped by a still big fanbase and by fully taking advantage of a now revenue based chart.

Tomorrow the first solo single from a former "The Saturdays" member will be out. Mollie King is releasing "Back to you". It will be interesting to see how this one does. I expect it to have a good start on itunes with fanbase sales. The release is promoted on her own, as well as on the bands Facebook page - which has 1.5 millions fans. I wonder if radio sations will playlist it upon release. Of course streaming will not be very high, so I think Top 40 on the official chart would be a big surprise.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2015
Not that surprising as the digital version of the re-release only includes some extra tracks while the physical version comes with an extra dvd that includes a full length concert. Same applies for Take That - the 2015 CD-version of III also has a DVD as a bonus, while the digital verion only has 4 new songs.
