Two questions: Do Westlife have any more promo for Lighthouse this week? If not then its going to be a real flop. When was Teardrop by The Collective released?

I gues those who listen to it dont have to suffer for that long. :D

Saturdays have done better than I thought compared with Girls Aloud. Saturdays are helped though from beign around at a time when singles sales are a lot higher than when Girls Aloud were in their peak around 2005/6.

As an artist she does seem far weaker than two years ago. I haven't heard about her management issues until reading this thread tonight but it all sounds believable. Her chart performances should really have been better, tracks being released midway through weeks and videos for songs taking ages to complete indicate some issues. Rihanna and Katy Perry have had far better years than Gaga this year.

Cant believe that Journey South figure!

Labrinth track will be top 5 for sure, great tune.

And that probably adds more weight to the argument that his album will sell lots. He's going to be an album artist, that seems obvious from his type of music and fanbase demographic.

Massive Attack - Teardrop

Dear me, this new Wretch 32 song is dull as dishwater!

Swagger Jagger falling as fast as Cher Lloyd's career!

Pretty disappointed JLS are number one, I dont mind them but the song is pretty lazy and sounds like everything else out there now. Just a bit meh.

Dont do drugs kids. Very sad, Amy had an amazing voice. Her tracks are bound to go top 40 at least.

A refreshing change to have 4 British acts in the top 5.

Any more links? The ones posted at the top have all been blocked.

Because we should congratulate mediocrity.

What is this chart?

What a terrible year for music.

Heared the song for the firs time in full last night. Wow, this is seriously poor. They have tried to go for the whole "current sound" but it comes off a mess. There is no chorus! No doubt it will do well but its the worst single they have ever released IMO.

My thoughts exactly.

A great start chartwise considering it has had zero airplay, its very hard to find it on Youtube to listen to and no video.

Oh the irony

Exactly. Rule The World wouldnt have fit the movie well, it needed to be upyemp and from from the clip I have heard its pretty decent.

Its very average, if ever a song was selling because of who the artist is then its this one.

What has the OCC said in the past? Has there been an official correspondence? I didnt say have, I said can. If the OCC officially releases data to a public organisation then that information is in the public domain and can be posted in full as long as it is sourced correctly.
