I think Diana Vickers - Once was number 7 after about 2 hours.

Excellent start for Take That. Not bad for Shayne either so far.

Hoping and expecting a huge nummber one for Take That next week. It should sell well over 100K too. Also hope Shayne Ward doesnt flop too badly, a nice guy with a lot of talent.

Thing with Roll Deep their last two hits were released on quieter weeks in spring/summer. Now we are into November there are all the big artists releasing tracks and they are getting lost in the pack. Alesha isnt unpopular just doesnt have much of a fanbase. I dont think Ive ever seen a "come on Alesha" on this thread.
  5. I ahvent bought this since it was Guinness produced. I really like the chart that told you how many weeks an act had ben in the charts in total.

How much market share does Tesco Digital have for music downloads?

Those pop bars make me think that if Rihanna had performed on X Factor last week she would be the official number one right now. Do we know if Rihanna couldnt make it last week or Miss Cole requested that she perform the week after her?

It will depend if they bought the single for more than 40p?.

Thanks for your contribution to the thread. :puke2:

Thats a pretty silly statement. Are artists only judged one week of sales now?

Really? Give it 4 weeks and im sure Rihanna will have sold more. B)

A lot better than some of the rubbish at the top of the chart recently.

Can you blame here for being annoyed at having less backing than Cheryl? Nadine is the lead singer of Girls Aloud yet Cheryl seems to have got everything handed on a plate to her. I hope Nadine gets a decent position come next Sunday, top 5 at least.

Quite an intriguing week, should be 3 or 4 new songs in the top 10 this week.

Nothing will sell the 400,000+ needed for a Christmas number one apart from the X Factor or something backed by a facebook campaigned. The problem with facebook backed singles is that last year there was one big campaign for Rage this year there seems to be several so all the sales will just get spread about.

I see the effect of the X Factor push are wearing off already. Cant be long (48 hours) before Rihanna goes to number one. Your right, I have a grasp full of straws right now. :naughty: This thread has always been pathetic and tedious, im just trying to keep up that tradition.

Just comparing last year's sales to this year's predicted sales. Do you not agree with the facts then? LOL. Did that hit a nerve? I would love to see her release a lead single without an X Factor performance and without the X Factor being on. Then we would see how popular she really is. There's promotion and then there's promotion that means a shower of $h!t can be released and get to number one. Not that I am calling "Promise This" $h!t. A role-model to young girls, like attacking people in nightclubs? And, Ive found another word to describe the two songs mentioned, average. :cheer:
  18. That would be quite a come down from last year's lead single. FFTL sold 290,000 in its first week I think.

Amazing that Rihanna is actually closing in on Cheryl. If Cheryl hadnt had the X Factor slot or Rihanna had performed too then RiRi may have had a chance of getting a number one this week. Tells me that Cheryl isnt actually that huge as some make out. :naughty:
  20. Yeh thats very likely.
  21. Im sure we will all know about it if it does. :arrr:
  22. The album isnt commercial anyway. Its kind of folk music which isnt anywhere near mainstream. Ive heard two songs from the album and its very bland and not my cup of tea at all. Hopefully, the lack of success that this album brings will make her next album more mainstream and get her back to releasing tracks like "Crazy Chick" and "Call My Name".
  23. Why is it desperate though? If you can get more people aware that you have an album out on ebay than on a TV or Radio show then surely ebay is the better option. Plus, the fact the newspapers reported it is just extra publicity.
  24. I dont see anything wrong with that. Its just the same as going on Daybreak or This Morning to flog a single/album. Ebay would probably get more visiitors than those shows get viewers anyway. Also, what does saleing mean? Ahh Ok. Thanks.
  25. I dont know where you have got a September date from because the single was due to be released today. I was just wondering if it was able to be downloaded.
