I have heard All Time Low quite a lot on there too. Radio 1 is run by a lot of youngish people who want to think they are cool and trendy so a lot of the music they like gets on the playlist because they think thats cool and trendy too. My prime example is the fact about 7 singles from one Biffy Clyro all got playlisted despite Biffy only being a minor band who had not really had any big success. You can also tell that some DJs influence the playlist as they play these little know indie songs and rave about them, Fearne Cotton and Greg James being examples.

Is this still going? Seems to have been going on forever and now we are well into January 2011.

Finally we may get some new songs in the top 10. The chart has been so dull for weeks.

Good to see Nero doing well. Me and You is a fantastic tune.

Good to see Nero doing well. Men and You is a fantastic tune.

Cultural impact? Did Umbrella stop wars or prevent famine?

Mollie from The Saturdays

Yeh, I cant understand why people are downloading Christmas songs today. I stop listening to festive songs after Christmas Eve and I love all things Christmas.

Good to see that Mariah has had one last surge to number 16.

Cheryl seems to have stalled at 17. Does she have anymore promo coming up? I doubt that will ever happen. There will also be some loons posting biased rubbish about their favourite acts.

What a stupid statement. Cheryl is just a pretty face and nothing more. The Flood is struggling, someone with her profile should firstly have a better song than that dull piece of crap and secondly be at least top 10 by now.

Any rises for RVP acts?

Buzzjack does business news too? Online is the way forward, their stores cant compete with Amazon/Play.com.

Matt Cardle is now showing as number one.

Thanks. I thought she just duetted with Matt, must have missed that performance.

I havent been follwing the chart for a few days, can someone tell me why Rihanna and Drake are top by such a large margin?

ManicKangaroo - if you are still going to stop posting these lists then I need to say thank you for doing it as they are very informative and help me out a lot.

LOL. Calm down. IGAF is clearly a huge seller and great song.

Cant believe this week will determine the Christmas number one. It seems to have come round so fast!

I can see what Zenon is saying. Although the offical Christmas chart will be w/e 19th, the chart announced on the 26th will include the whole week before and including Christmas Day.

I feel your pain. There are times when I have to agree with people who say chart music is crap nowdays.

Tone Damli? Who? Radio 2 playlist means bugger all when it comes to downloads.

Rihanna at 5,6 and 7. When was the last time someone had 3 consecutive singles in the top 10?

Group C didnt last long, didnt get round to vote. How long can we vote for?

Not a shock to me, I was expecting it to be big.
