My thoughts exactly. I dont mind The Saturdays, all nice to look at and I have liked most of their songs. However, reading this thread has been so tedious over the last couple of days.

I see The Saturdays are this week's Buzzjack female act of the week.

Their sales this week would have got them to number two a month ago.

Has there been any pop bar increase for Eminem since the video was released?

Flo Rida needs massive sales until Saturday night to have any chance of an official number 1. Coming from number 10 to number 1 in the 3/4 days would be an amazing feat.

Daniel is far the better Bedingfield. Shame his second album flopped, his first was brilliant.

Resfreshing to see that come Sunday's officials there could be 5 new singles in the top 10.

I suppose the lower sales were supplemented by the cost of CDs being much higher than downloads. CDs were around £2.99 ( not 100% sure) and downloads now are mostly 99p. So record labels still made a lot of money but with lower sales.

TBWML just isnt a strong enough song. The Diana fans here will probably disagree but they are biased. The song is just ok and nothing special, so the general music buying public havent really bothered purchasing it.

Obviously very different from what they have done before but sounds very current. Should they have stuck to the old sound? Is it too alike to everything else at the moment? Is it any good? And where did you think it will slot in the charts?

I get quite the opposite impression. INYT seemed to be all over the radio but I have only caught the video a couple of times for this song.

As you say, you and most of the posters here were all saying for weeks before INYT was released it would be definately #1 and wasnt. I doubt you would. Again, I doubt that. If I was given a pound everytime Id read that phrase this week I would have at least £70.

I tried to make the point about JLS physical sales but people shot me down. The chanches of JLS not being Number 1 on Sunday are very minimal. Nice to see you being impartial as always. Because that has added to the thread enormously. :rolleyes:

Did i say that JLS were the only artist that this happens to? No. But, Christina Aguilera or any other artist was not who I was making the point about. However, my opinion is that JLS fans are amongst the worse for this. So you can go away and pick apart another "ludicrous statment" which is a perfectly legitimate post. -_-

Very doubtful. You have to remember all the JLS schoolgirl fans have probably bought 4 physcial copies each already.

Artists with a penis are usually frowned upon. Its surprising that Lady Gaga is so well liked really.

Doesnt really matter which is number one, JLS or Katy Perry. They're both pretty poor songs, Katy's gets more annoying the more you hear it, JLS' song gets better but sounds so awful the first time. Really not surprised that JLS dont have many fans on here. A well liked boyband on Buzzjack, no chance.

Wavin Flag gets played on The Chris Moyles Show pretty much everyday so its getting a fair number of listeners on there. Its also the offical song for the biggets thing in the world right now so its exposure is huge.
