This is exactly how I feel. At the end of the day, it's their career and their lives and they can obviously decide what to do with it. As a fan, it's just disappointing to see them doing these kind of adverts. I loved the Walkers one back in '19, as it made sense and yes it was a bit cheesy but it worked. This is just such a money grab for the hens and it's cringe.

HAHA :lol: Touche. Obviously the girls have a massive audience besides the gheys, I think we all know that. You cannot fill a whole stadium with just them. However, the gheys are certainly their biggest and most dedicated audience. The hens probably go to a tour when it's around to have a drunk night out and stream a song every now and then, but they are not following them, buying every solo release or arguining about the potential third Forever single. So I think it would make sense to also gather a bit more towards the gheys sometimes. Who is going to download Coin Master because of this ad? I wouldn't expect either the gheys or the hens.

That's what I felt as well, not surprised but still disappointing to see the producers are trying to make this into a "thing". Hopefully it was just the first episode and it won't be like this every time because that will get old very fast. Maddy looked very uncomfortable about it indeed. So far I'm obsessed with sixth Spice Girl Lady Camden, very talented and fun. Angeria was fab as well! Such a fun personality and gorgeous drag. All the lip syncs in the talent show was a bit boring though.. Jorgeous looks good, but not much personality, felt like one of those obvious Instagram queens.

Really? I don't remember her being that impressive, but maybe I'm biased as I really really really didn't like her and her personality on the show. She came across so bad and I cringed everytime she did a talking head. So definitely not supporting *my* (I'm Dutch) queen. Will be very curious to see, as I can see them favouring the US and UK girls. Mostly excited for Cheryl Hole. I know she is definitely not the strongest girl in there, and at times a bit basic, but she is just so fun, knows she is a bit basic and plays with it.

I don't understand this whole straight rights thing of them, it's not like the straights are out there supporting them and buying their 25 pound vinyls. Surely hope they got paid a lot for this shit show :lol:

Not another one. Major cringe. ESpecially the lads dressed up as them, which gives "straight guys doing someting silly for a night" vibe. Couldn't they have done this with some real queens and gather more to their own fans instead of locals?

I do like Ride It, it's very camp and silly and suited Geri perfectly as the kind of "comeback" single, but Some Girls is definitely the better songs out of the two for me.

It was a #2 smash hit for her, the 40th best selling single of the year and saw Funky Dory returning back to the charts at #13. What more could it have done for her?

Absolutely! That's what Richard says as well, Rachel and her label didn't have any changes or feedback and he could do exactly what he wanted. Surely Geri would have had other demands (which makes sense as well). Overall I think the song went to the right person, Rachel did a great job, and Geri gave us Ride It which also did well for her. Don't think her version of Some Girls would have been much bigger.

I don't think appearing on The Masked Singer is anything bad, especially not after seeing that quite a few big names have appeared on it on the first two seasons (Nicola Roberts, Melanie B, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Skin, Kelis, Cee-Lo Green). None of them are the hottest act in town, but neither is Will, which makes total sense after doing this for 20 years! He is still doing very well for himself but is in another phase of his career compared to 10, 15 years ago.

Richard X has talked about her whole Geri / Rachel Stevens Some Girls saga in a new podcast episode. The story itself isn't new for most of us, what I didn't know however is that Geri apparently wrote a comeback single about Richard but that never got released (obviously, otherwise we would have known). Woop for her getting a SAG nom! This is a very positive sign. Shocked to see Kristen missing out though, and Jennifer getting in! I honestly thought it was over for Jennifer at this point, like UltraSourRed mentioned, it really is all over the place this year.

Yeah, I think it was filmed around 1 year ago, right after S2 I think? VERY happy with the Pricey, have been waiting for her to appear since S1 was announced. Also looking forward to see Mel, of course, and Clara. She is such a queen.

We already knew it was going to happen of course, but still, yess! So looking forward to see her on the show, I bet she will be fantastic. She loves drag and I think she will give some good and constructive feedback.

Disco all three for me, it has been one of the best Kylie era's ever for me. Golden was a nice era but doesn't come close (I accidentally voted for Golden in all three, we I wanted to go for Disco).

Oh god, as if anyone is even waiting for this. It's almost sad to see, how someone can be so mean and delusional. Also, what's wrong with GMT? The media have, again, learned absolutely nothing. Gross.

The pictures are fab, especially the Kylie-inspired outfit and the one with her face cut-out is highly camp. Interview-wise, what shall I say? Her interviews have been getting on my nerves more and more these days, she either takes herself way too seriously or she is putting on an act all the time. I'm still not sure which one the two it is.

The GG mean nothing anymore, after last year's scandal. No one in the industry takes them serious and to be honest, they have never been a big predictor for the Oscars as they always had some very left-field choices. Having said that, Nicole has created quite some buzz the last few months and I would say her and Olivia are the front-runners now, followed by Kristen. We also have Rachel Zegler and Alana Haim so I'm not too sure how sure we can be for GaGa's nomination anymore. It's going to be a tough year!
