I think the singles run was perfect as it was and wouldn't have added a fourth single. While I like the album tracks a lot, nothing screams single to me and the three songs that were picked are amongst their strongest singles for me.

I would go for Tears as well, none of their covers are very spectacular but this one stands out the most.

Wow at Christmas Wrapping cracking their top 10! That's pretty big. Shame Goodbye is getting such bad support on streaming though.. Easily one of their best and don't understand why it seems so forgotten by the general public.

I've been playing them quite frequently the last few weeks, it's such a nice collection of original and covers, Not Tonight Santa should be a Christmas to-go-to for pop fans, shame it has never really gotten it's break although I was very happy to see it appearing in the 'Single All The Way' movie.

It really shows how low single sales were, generally speaking, between 2003-2006. Something Kinda Ooooh was such a big deal for them, especially compared to Can't Speak French and The Loving Kind which both have the same certifcate now.

It took some time, but glad to see they finally got there! :heart:

Turns out she hasn't performed as much at the BBC as the makers probably thought, with them showing four music videos :lol: It was still a fun show to watch, with the Frozen performance being my highlight as I had never seen that one before. It was so epic!

That was also an interesting one I didn't know about until reading Sarah's book. Wonder why the label decided to go with I Think We're Alone now in the end, quite a good decision since that went top 5 for them (even though it's clearly one of their most forgotton singles at this point).

I'm very surprised they didn't get in for costume design! As I think they definitely deserve that one. Not so surprised about the movie not getting any big nominations, as critics have been pretty divided and it's quite clear GaGa is the one who really sells the movie. GREAT to see her up for People's Choice as well. What a fantastic list of talented women.

I would be very surprised to see Kidman missing out, especially since Hollywood loves movies about Hollywood :lol: And she is the kind of movie star they love to nominate, even if the movie itself isn't getting the best reviews (similar to Stewart in Spencer and to a certain extent GaGa in Gucci). I would love for Jessica to be nominated, as I think she is fab, but it feels like all the buzz around the movie has faded especially since the movie didn't do so well either and has been out for a few months now. GaGa's NYFCC win definitely helped, you're right, and I hope it's enough now combined with the GG nomination and all the talk that's still around her and the movie. I think Colman and Stewart are the most definite shoe-in, followed by Kidman, GaGa and then a fifth pick that could be tricky; maybe it will be Chastain indeed or Haim as that movie is generating some serious buzz at the moment.

I'm sure they regret their single choices now!

I know, I was shocked when I read it in Sarah's book earlier this year. It would have been such a bad choice, could you imagine :lol: Same for their cover version of Wicked Game, yikes. I also remember their being other songs considered instead of Walk This Way, but can't really remember which ones. As much as I think Models is "a single that could have been", it makes sense they didn't go for a fifth single from Chemistry. Could have missed the top 10 at that point.

Absolutely not! Beforehand there were rumours certain studios didn't want to participate this year, but looking at the list that doesn't seem to be the case as all big movies are nominated.. I do wonder what will happen with attending, since it also won't be broadcasted this year.

Those odds seems very od.. Especially since Olivia and Nicole are almost a shoe-in and feel more certain than GaGa at this point. Would be shocked to see Jessica making the list! I have my fingers crossed for GaGa, she deserves it, but wouldn't be surprised if she just misses out.

Covid, mostly. You see it happening everywhere and it makes sense. Those "haters" are so tiring. Of course the numbers aren't AMAZING, but that's what happens when you are in the middle of a pandemic. Every movie has this problem, even Bond struggled (a tiny bit) in the US. Considering it's still top 5 in the US and almost at 100 million worldwide is very promising, especially for an adult drama.

I barely talk about Jesy in general and rarely use other forums than Buzzjack these days, so very curious to hear where else you have seen me :lol: And yes, good for her supporting a black owned business, that's also positive, but after the last few months and everything that has been said and done, you go out in a brand, cover the one part of the name with your hair so it only shows black is just very unintelligent. Wheter is was intentional or not. And I agree with you, I never visit forums of people I don't like. But I have actually been a LM fan since X Factor and always liked Jesy as well. If I was a "hater", I wouldn't bother to comment in here, would I? Very mature to start talking about Sugababes as well, wow :lol: You are always welcome to their forum and talk about Siobhan and how you don't like 1.0. But HOW could you even compare that? Literally how. And good for you for still liking Jesy, I don't think anyone should hate her, the only thing is that she can be hold accountable for the things she is doing. Wow, I never realised Riva were Dutch! I remember this release so well, the first time I heard the name Dannii Minogue actually. I never went out to buy the single but I loved seeing the video on the music channels all the time, it was big here. Bring back so many memories in general, the end of 2001 was such a good era for pop music.

Girl Overboard, certainly. Weren't there quite some rumours around that time this was planned as the fourth single? With a camp and glitzy video, this would have worked so well and would have easily been another top 10 hit. It would go OFF in the gay clubs.
